Although I very rarely post, I do read this forum often. As an outsider what I see most is a lot of people with a lot of negativity and that is a shame. MC produced a game that is 75% there. It has some really ground breaking concepts and is graphically superb. I think a lot of people here have almost talked Cities XL into the position it is today. All of us here belong to a very a very select, even niche gaming market and we should embrace it and not be this negative. I paid for the PO, proud of doing so. Because city building is SO niche and will not appeal to the mass market (we have seen this now) we should expect to PAY for ALL further developments on this product. I am VERY enthusiastic for the game to continue. You see I would welcome having a superb Solo game, but I pay monthly for regular updates and future development. Believe me there IS NOT going to be another city building game on the market, no one would invest money in it, not based on what has happened to Cities XL. So what we NEED to happen is for MC to maintain development of this game, it is our only future. Come on guys pull together, where is the community spirit. Help MC and be positive. If MC can produce Cities 2011 then I expect it to only consolidate the solo player game and include only a few additions of new content. I also insist to pay for it too.

I think when you invest so much time into the game it must be very annoying. However it was your decision to do what you did in the way you did it. Personally I build up a reserve of unemployed , approx 5-10% when I am changing my city, I can then simply absorb them into employment when I finish what I am doing. Personally I re-frame from posting on this site a lot because of the negativity. We have a great game here, and I hope it will become bigger and better as time goes on. -
Originally posted by: cheuk18me94 I just want ot tell you. Cities XL can't be MMO, city building game is typically is a single-player mode. The purpose of PO is fact is let MC to get more money from player......quote> The idea of being able to trade among other users is a truely great one, but I do not believe it is an MMO, this is too strong a title for it. MC calling it an MMO opens the doors to a continued revenue stream that should allow further development for a long time. Just think how long we have all played SC4 for ! Buses seem to have come out almost quietly which may be because we all shouted about the lack of MT. But I think this is now OT

Well personally a lot of the above is speculation and cynicism brought about entirely by the lack of communication. However, I am positive, I BELIEVE that when they have changed their PO policy they want to move on it in one go, so by allowing only 1 month subs at present enables them to do this timely and to the greatest numbers. I probably think 3 months AFTER the change to 1 month subs we will see the new Planet Offer unfold. However I paid

I have a simple bug, When I make a road one-way the portion of road I select sees the arrows either pointing towards each other or away thus preventing any traffic flow. I attach a screen shot. I contacted the support and the response time was MAGNIFICENT, the result not so. Simply, yes this can happen, tough, re-lay the road and see if it happens again.
