Whenever I click a building tool, the game lags for half a second. Do other people experience this too? To clarify: it happens when i click for example, a road, or a zoning tool, or a specific building.. Is this normal??

My pc is a C2D e8400 with crossfire 4870 and 4 gig ram on win7. So that should be more than enough. I Have CXL 2011 installed on a SSD. could that have anything to do with it?

Hello all! I,ve been playing around with CXL for a week now and I want to try the following: I would like to play the map "the great lake". if you dont know what i mean look here: https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=401&threadid=110871&enterthread=y As far as I know this map is only available in PO, and not offline. Would it be possible to play this map offline by fooling the game. I've tried renaming .PAK files in the game dir. The goal is to make the game think it is loading an offline map, while it is actually loading the one mentioned above. any ideas how to get this working?? info: I've got CXL Limited edition, bought via steam!

After that i will go PO and i was planning to build an economy the same way you did. Nice CJ keep up.. and dont go sick anymore.

To conclude this: I have the Steam Limited Edition and it does not include any subscription to Planet Offer.

oooh,oooh MC. Nice action. punnishing the people who actually trusted MC and wanted to give them time to come up with good things, while paying for PO If they are in moneytrouble already, this could be bad for cities xl. there gonna pull the plug on it sooner than expected maybe.... Mathew_MC seems to be the only one regurlarly reading and posting here, but communication for their side is very poor. Its so easy to every now and then post a screenshot of some work in progress, tell people you are aware of the memory leak and expect to resolve it in the next few weeks, or whenever. Also no words about the trains, subways, road packs, decoration packs..... nothing. I bought the game and was planning to go PO when (most of the) mass transsit is finished. Now i begin to think there wont be any mass transsit (exept the busses off course(wich i dont get in solo allthough it was told we would get them)). This game could very well end up in the trash bin.. Thanks Monte Cristo

some credit for MC at last.. I'm glad they took the time to work it out real nice. altough i do not forget they promissed busses for everyone, and now it's PO only... I'm not in PO (of course) so if someone can record and put it on youtube, that would be great. If trains and subways are released i might even consider PO, if MC makes them as nice as the busses

We shoud indeed not beg MC for free mass transit for all. We could try to convince them to release mass-transit for solo, albeit for a small price
