  1. Scammed by STEX DVD

Thanks for all the replies. I meant Vol 2 and 3 sorry.. typed it in a rush I'll give it some more time then, should arrive soon though.
  2. I purchased the Stex vol 1 and 2 thru Paypal around 3 weeks ago. I got a confirmation that 45 USD had been sent from Paypal. 2 weeks later I had nothing, so on monday I sent an email regarding my order. To my suprise they havent answered me yet... Did they stop producing DVDs or what?
  3. Yeah, affects the undeveloped aswell. And how can I raise the population if the all three green is -50 in demand?
  4. Okay.. Now EVERYTHING is below -50 demand.. I don't know what to do.. taxes are minimal and see no growth at all anymore. What should I do? This -50 effect is everywhere.. affects every province.
  5. Thanks all. Since last time I had an boom, practically. Altough I didn't manage to build any skyscrapers
  6. First of all I want to say thanks to everyone that has replied! I will try to give you an impression of how things are going now. Bold text = my text. Zone lots more residential. Get the people in, and your C and I demand will go up. Thanks, this helped a LOT. I saw growth everywhere and had a laaarge boom. Try using landmarks. Lots and lots and lots of landmarks...fill your skyline with all of the landmark skyscrapers, and demand will shoot up faster than a man sitting on a toilet when he realizes there's a snake in it (excuse the analogy ). BTW, I have noticed that it is faster to destroy any abandoned buildings and let new ones spring as Sims rarely move back into abandoned homes. I recommend doing so (even if they look really cool...'expansion is destruction'). Placed like 10-15 landmarks but the change was minimal. Residential growth usually spurs commercial demand, as does traffic in commercial areas. As IndianaJoe said, landmarks do work, and REALLY WELL. Also, one more thing: if demand is high, I-HT and I-M will employ lots of R$$-$$$, especially with industry quadrupler (even though there is a small environmental impact). Subsequently, there will be more residents in your city, bumping up commercial demand. A reason you city might have such high residential demand is that they find jobs in your neighboring cities. They will commute from one city to another. Good luck in development! Landmarks had little effect. I placed some HT in main city tough, and jobs skryrocketed to like 80k jobs. Yep. Industrial helps a lot, too. Like modulator12 said, it'll help population control and help demand. Also, if you don't like the Maxis landmarks, check on the STEX. There are HUNDREDS of new Landmarks that look far more original, creative, and, overall, BETTER! Not much help, but it'll make your citty look nicer. Beleive me. See ya! Industry HT was a very nice thing, it certainly helped me. I will check into these landsmarks, do you recommend any? I think it goes in level of balance.. I found that the Agri bar is super high, and everytime i put more, it goes down just a little, and that little bit Makes everything go higher one more notch, and more zones are building up. It's pretty hard to keep up with agri witha region, because no matter where you put it, if it is connected, the entire region will take a Percentage out of that to share with the other cities on a ratio to Foodopulation (wow, really?). (i really just thought about it but math makes the entire world go round) Balance Board: - = Ratio Food-Population (Region takes from one city for all connected cities to Population) Population-Corprate & Residential Taxes (unsure, but it does something) Industry-Corporate & Trade population (businesses, low wealth takes dirty and manufracturing, Hi-Tech takes from each, Main Businesses (L-M-D) take from all industries, but Agri has to be met in order to keep them. Industry, when overloaded with surplus, needs to haul things out-- Fast, either by train, truck, or ship Thanks mate, placing more agriculture did bring in a nice harvest of growth Valdez City skryrocketed because of this. Tried adding an airport? Does wonders for Com growth. I had a city that was rather stagnant as well. I found a nice large area to develop. I first placed an International airport. Then I zoned Industrial at the ends, Commercial on the sides, and Residential all around. All high density. Highways surrounded it all. Guess what? Everything went through the roof! I went from around 50K to over 160K in less than a game year. I don't think I can milk more from airports, I already have a lot of them. Should I build more? (see map below) Pictures as of today: ( You can clearly see the difference in population and cities.) Sorry for large pictures. Anyway, what should I do now? Residental has slacked off in most areas. Industrial have slacked off(except farming) Commercial is below -50 as normal agian.
  7. Okay, so this is the current situation.. and it's all -100 negative agian in commercial zones and I still don't have enough jobs.
  8. Okay, I'm lost agian. Atm education, healtcare, traffic is at full green, and enviroment at 25 % full. 500K people, 290k commercial jobs, and another 150k industry jobs outside on other lands. But I can't seem to grow anymore, demand is negative in the commercial and industry demand slacked off. The green sector is skyhigh tough, but I can't even maintain jobs for more than 75 % of the city and they still want to expand? What should I do to attract more jobs?
  9. Sim Nation

Cool city, mate. Love it! Altough I must ask. You can't bother to upload your plugin folder somewhere?
  10. Thank you for your responce. I have NAM, but how will that exactly help me with people moving out causing abandonement? The schools are not overcrowded, all are running at around 98 % capacity tough. Would bulding more schools help this? Maybe even higher level schools?? I also have a univeristy. What is this CAM? Can you explain it for me? I couldn't make much from it on thier forum
  11. Hello all I am a pretty ***** in SC4, so far I have one large city with residential zones and commercial. The industrial is outside in other lots. I have 3 industrial cities wwith 0 inhabitants, and they total about 150k jobs. In my main city I have around 250k people, and 70k commercial jobs. Atm, I have a large part of my city abondoned.. and the rest soon to follow as I don't have enough jobs. All the commercial zones demand bar is at the bottom, I don't know what to do. I've tried to lower taxes (Commercial varies from 4-5) I have around 5-6 schools (different levels), 4 hospitals, and adeqaute transportation and garbage level is OK. What should I do? I am clueless. Thanks for help Also, is there a mod that lets say doubles the jobs the commercial plots make? Eg. from 20 jobs to 40 jobs. I can post a picture later is anyone want.
