There are some games which supports Anti-Aliasing but when Simcity 4 came out, this was just a new concept on new videocards, So that's why SC4 does not support it, and even so, it makes not a real difference! Not all games do support it, even with newer games...

Have you even tried on setting your renderer (in the graphics menu ingame) from hardware to software, maybe that will help...

Is that GLR-crash not fixed yet? That's why I am not using the GLR option in my gameplay... I hate it when I have to start over when I want to use the GLR... Believe me, I like the GLR, but I may hope someday that the crash can be fixed somehow

Another thing is, that if you got Rush Hour, the expansion pack contains several bug fixes for Sc4 Vanilla, but a small amount of bugs are still left in there, and I must say I don't notices them really anymore...

In order to change them, you will need a mod that changes them when installed... So check out the Modding Section or the STEX in finding those mods, there are various types of mods that will change the streets or railroad textures... Hope this helped you and if not, just ask

Can someone or is someone willingly on making these greenhouses? for an example picture is attached... These greenhouses are commonly used here in the netherlands and would like to see these batted if possible... Thanks...

When you are playing, what kind of programs do you have running in the background of windows?!? No programs or quite a few? (To find out how, press CTRL + ALT + DEL at once to bring up the taskmanager, click on the process tab, below you'll see how many programs/processes are running and how many memory it uses) If you've got too many programs running in the background, it will result in freezes off your screen, because those programs also use valuable RAM... If you've checked process tab in the taskmanager; A number of minimum processes are near the 35 processes... it can below or over that... Also disabling your virussoftware can help also... Hope this was usefull to you?

Ok you are right about that, but why do you give advice to people not to change the virtual memory/pagefile settings? Is that because you think it's a bad thing? If that is the case why does many people saying the same thing about this, that changing your pagefile is ALWAYS a good idea?! If you don't believe me, I have found proof of that in this article http://www.petri.co.il/pagefile_optimization.htm I'm not saying you're crazy or something like that, and I don't lecture you at all but I have noticed that you are the only one on this site who is saying that a bad thing to do, all I wonder is that why would you say something like that? What is your motive behind it?

Can you tell us how much memory you have installed? Because to the looks of the info you provided in the first post, I have a little suspicion that this might have to do with your memory... System memory: 384 Megabytes total, 8 Megabytes free. as qouted from your post

first of all, I have to ask you a little question about your problem... Did you recently moved the speakers to another location?!? If so, it can have some interference with your monitor due to some light (unharmfull) radiation... Another possibillity is that your soundplug from your speakers isn't plugged in right into it's slot... Also, please check for driver updates for your soundcard... Maybe that will solve the problem... Hope this solves your problem... Could you provide us information about how and when it happens? under which circumstances etc. etc.?
