  1. I've got this error message in the demo and in full version as well. But if you open directly "C:\Program Files (x86)\Monte Cristo\Cities XL\CitiesXL.exe", for me it is always ok. btw: I have Vista x64
  2. Successfully downloaded and installed the Digital Download version, but online servers and registration page are offline now I guess, it will work tomorrow
