one of our modders (Okeanos) has found some interesting information about the game and its structures. He developed a mod-patch to improve the quality of education services.
We allready sent this patch to Monte Cristo, in the hope that they will correct their own errors or simple release the changed files as patch.
Okeanos analayzed the building structures and exportet a structure table and found out that every building has special effects, range values AND a "group" where its working on.
As simple example the retail stores. Every store has a retail-effect on his neighborhood (+200). If two (same) supermarkets where placed/build direct to each other there will be only a retail-value of 200, because both of them sold the same. If you place a supermarket and a electronic store, both will produce 200 Retail and the citizens where more satisfied with the retail-services in your city.
The big problem/bug with the educations-services are that MC placed all services in the same group. So a childhood and a universitiy don't add to each other. Only the higher service (universitiy) will show a affect to the citizens. (im sure nearly nobody can understand it with my english)
Perhaps some of you where interessed in the patch (forum-thread | direct link) and the builings stats. We stand in contact with Monte Cristo and we hope that they will fix their bugs with this patch.
