SimCity Developers' Reddit AMA Swiftly Turns Into WTF With The Online-Only DRM?

This post sounds like made by the WestBoro baptist church! My god, the amount of sensationalism is too damn high. Isn't cirugo though, his grammar is atrociously bad. -

I agree. One time i searched for wall to wall buildings and i had 3 pages of trees and fancy cars.

Most people don't want to try something that isn't a ridiculously easy mow-them-down shooter.

I love this meme.

So Maxis just posted a very interesting blog in SimCity Insider about the soundtrack. The guy who does the soundtrack is really a genius. The sound that he attached to the post is so fluid as he describes how the actions he's doing impact on the soundtrack.

To all of the people complaining about the changes

I'm basing all my points about SimCity itself on what information is out there from Maxis. For the computer specs, I scoured the internet the best I could to locate the specs. Other points I'm making are based on rationality, and looking at what the game is positioned to be, not bemoaning it for what it is not. As for the market, I used general statements. The fact remains that there are more customers than the hardcore simcity fan that this game can, and will, appeal to, as such, having lower-end specifications will make the game more accessible to more people. More people buying the game means more money for Maxis, more money for Maxis means a higher chance the game will be built up further. As of yesterday, I found out I will have to fight to keep my disability income, as such, I will likely not be able to buy the game until I get that situation sorted out, which could take two years, of which I may have no income whatsoever. I would still like to play this game once I get my financial situation settled out. It is funny to T Wrecks say that we that are supporting the game are speculating when most of the arguements used by negative folks are made up. -

landmarks wanted in SC2013

The collosseum would be nice i guess, with some italian building popping up around it! Also something from germany apart from the Brandenburg Gate. Taipei 101 Something russian apart from the Basilica, maybe that monument in Stalingrad/Volgograd? From Austria, either Schönbrunn or Hofburg palace. And some others so we can get a nice international feel to this game. -
YOU tire the people with your spammy negativity. We already got it that you don't like the game, now shut up! For god's sake in everything related to SC2013 you post some random negative cr*p. There is no thing to discuss really , as the last blog post was relatively shallow , but in your propaganda you replace lack of topics to discuss with "disappointment" which some members may even have, but it isn't the reason behind the lack of discussion.

I'll disprove your negativity next years. History is on my side.

Shut up. 1)Fire Maxis veterans with lots of experience? Not going to happen. 2)We can't do that. The engine doesn't allow and we don't have the source code to fix possible bugs. Want to hate? Atleast hate with class. And real facts.
