Yeah I'm not impressed either I can't even install the demo. Consider yourself lucky you got to see it at all. This for me is a no buyer I have no issue installing and using any other program on my PC but Cities XL doesn't even install. Don't think I'll ever get it. I wonder how many people just gave up instead of coming to the forums (not even their forums) to find a fix. Shockingly bad game.

Hi guys, I live in the UK and just got hold of PC Zone and thought I'd try Cities XL demo that came on the cover DVD. I installed it, registered with the main site and then tried to log in to the game, once in it started downloading a patch and asked me to install it. I then got a "Corrupt Installer" message and the install stopped half way through and left a nice little progress bar engraved on my desktop along with a program in my task bar that I can't get rid of unless I hard Boot my machine. Yes it doesn't let me reboot my machine properly. Is anyone else having/had this issue? If you know how to fix it please let me know.
