quick question guys, regarding the difficulty level......between all three options the money becomes less for hard compared to easy, i understand that side of it......but with regards to actually gameplay, if choosen "hard" will the game be tougher to play...i.e satisfying the sims becomes more of a task, will they become harder to please or is it just the cash level that determines the difficulty... Hey, Just want to know, how the hell do you reduce air pollution by and around dirty industry or even for that mater hi_tec industries..... I have download an air purification Plop at Stex, but dont like using it as i dont like cheats..... you cant put parks at industry it will lookm rediculous... Thanks chaps....

Where do place trains and monorails, traffic out of control. I have been using bus tops and subways, but for the love of everything good in this world i cant get people to use trains..... I have placed it around my city i.e RES,COM,INDUS.... no one uses it and the houses that are next to the rail abandon, suppose lack disirability..... Now can someone please tell me where to start, where to build through and where to end and most importantly where to place stations..... P.S must rails start from a neighbouring city?

Just want to know something, i have connected a single road to my neighbouring city, after awhile trafiic was mad and the road was red with the query tool, to fix the problem i converted the road to an avenue.....to make some extra cash as i was making 500 loss a month a put in a toll booth. The problem is that no cars use that road anymore and it is the only road connected to my neighbouring city and i have no job signs over my whole residential area now..... Did i maybe not connect the avenue correctly? cause it looks like there is no problem....I have the nam installed... It is a fairly new region and city.....could that maybe be the cause....i.e to early for sims to pay toll fees... Any form of input would be appreciated. Best Regards, Ryan

Just wondering, i have a city thats pretty old, now i am trying to get rid of dirty industry as it is unsightly, i demolish all current buildings then wait awhile and then place high zone industry again, in order to get HI-Tech industry, it seems to work for awhile then the high tech becomes dark and the dirty industry seems to pop up its ugly face again...... I have looked at my demand indicators and hi tech industry is through the roof and dirty or low industry in half way up.... Now does a city have to have dirty industries or can they survive alone on Hi-Tech...... Was thinking of pushing up my taxes for low industry extremely high for the demand to drop, just worried that i might me creating a long term problems that i dont want.... I am a beginner, i need to know what the diff is btw..... a mod, prop, lot, bat.......and to install them do i just unzip them and they should go to the correct folder.... please help would be much appreciated... Best Regards, Ryan

Thanks very much guys, really appreciate the feedback. Just to let you guys know that i downloaded the Nam Mod, it adds a lot of extra roads to the menu.....at first i was a bit confused, so i decided to uninstall it as i was not yet use to the rush hour expansion pack. Been playing Simcity 4 Classic for about 4 months when i got the rush hour expansion pack....just by doing that there were plenty more options available, so installing the nam mod really created a bit confusion as i was not completelt clued up with rush hour..... When do you guys think is a good time to install all the mods....i would presume when i feel comfortable with the total gameplay and all functions....I must be honest, still struggling with the road and traffic problem and where to exactly place stations and bus stops......hopefully i will improve there.. By any chance is there a mod that allows the users to pin point the best location for stops and stations or does one just have to play and get a feel for it.... Best Regards, Ryan
