Hey, so, I have been playing Simcity 4 since last summer, and I just started downloading custom content. In particular, I am really interested in getting the trams/trolleys/GLR functioning, but I have encountered a number of problems. So far, I have downloaded the NAM and a few GLR stations--Shmail's GLR stations, the bsc sfbt tram mod, the rtmt interim t-ram stations, the tsc tram station set, and the suburban glr set. The problems I am having are these: 1-First, the game tends to crash when I use custom content, but it doesn't crash predictably so I can't point to one item or another that seems to be causing it (it also used to crash before I downloaded any mods, too, so I'm not sure what the solution is) 2-Second, and this is the real meat of the issue, I cannot get the puzzle pieces to line up properly. No matter what track type it is--tram-in-road, straight tram, draggable GLR, most custom tracks--I have a hell of time getting the tracks to point in the right direction. The straight tram pieces are the worst offenders; they are oriented properly, but then when I move them up to the track, they go perpendicular and won't connect. So, 1) how do I prevent crashes? and 2) how do I get pieces to line up properly without an insane (or insanity-inducing) amount of fiddling? Any and all advice is more than welcome.

Okay, I just downloaded the NAM and I am really excited by all the cool light rail options. However, I cannot seem to find any GLR stations; what gives? How do I build stations so that my sims can use the light rail systems I am building? And how about canals--what do they use for stations?
