The reason why I'm asking this is because I know that games always say their minimum requirements are this and that but yet lesser components work fine.

The Centrino 2 (aka "Montevina")is a chipset, not a particular CPU. A quick wiki search shows that the Centrino 2 platform consists of an Intel Core 2 Duo processor plus other wireless technologies and RAM specifications. The "2.5 Go" most likely refers to the RAM needed when using Vista as your OS. It probably means 2.5 GIGABYTES of RAM, which is a lot...but memory is pretty cheap nowadays. I hope they can trim it down a bit after the beta.
