my PC SPECS: ati radeon 4870 512mb gddr5 4gb ram 800mhz windows 7 ultimate Intel® core2 quad CPU9550 @ 2.83 GHz asus p5ql PRO motherboard the problem is the folowing. first i create a new city. at beginning my FPS is ok arround 50fps but when my city grows , when i reach arround 100k peoples the game become very laggy. i have only 3 to 5 fps. i have all drivers and other up to date. and my game lags. example: i run call of duty modern warfare 2 at 100 fps(max settings 1680x 1050). can somebody help thanks

do u finished all tutorials? tutorials shows u how to start. first build the main building and than build the utilities building for starting resources. than start building residental areas. office areas, farm areas and industrial areas =) good luck. and welcome to simtropolis

its very hard to build a city without any heavy industry. or maybe impossible. city without heavy industry is busted. build some heavy indutry in a corner of a map or far away from the city.

I agree with that. first they need to fix the MAJOR bugs like. multicore support, memory leak fix and other big bugs.

allways when i'm try to build an long road. the longer the road the more it lags. (before placing it ********). for me it start to lag at arround 50k peoples. And getting worser when my city grows.

well i wish i could pre-order the game. but i have no paypal card, visa or mastercard. i think it will be ok if i buy it in retail store, or steam. i will buy it and i hope it wont be a waste.

i have already noticed that. many months ago. and they didnt fix it. when my city is big the game just lagg so hard only 5 fps.(my computer is enought strong i know that.)

i have also that problem. i got intel core quad Q9550 2,83GHz and when i go to task manager and go to "PERFORMANCE" i see that only one core is in use. (100% in use) other are idle -

i bought the game 3 mounths ago. and it was worth buying it cuz the mods are getting better and better =)

i see your computer is way enought strong to run this game =) try update every driver in your computer. try run the game with administration privilages(*run as administrator right click*) try different settings in-game( change the resolution, anti-alissing....etc) i hear the first time for that problem.
