HEEY GUUYS! First of all thank you so much for the Trixie Award for Best CXL City Journal! I got very surprised to even be nominated, and then go and win?! Never saw that coming Like you've probobly seen both Garnica and Marinora are ended, I have soo much things in school right now and my comp is messing with me. I hadn't been logged on for a couple of months and thought I'd log on to check some news, and when I browsed through the Trixie winners I suddenly saw my name! I never realised that you liked my work this much, and now that I know I got really excited to start a new one, and why don't use the legacy from Marinora and Garnica? So this is my new and third, and hopefully best City Journal: And in this one I really want you to be a part of everything! So the first question, before I start building is: What do you want to see in this city, that you have or haven't seen in my other cities? Please leave me your answers right here and I'll try to make a city that will blow your minds!!

And there we go again.... once again my game decides to kill my city of by just crashing on me when I open the city. Just the same thing that happened with Garnice City and since no one seems to know any answer to this I'm afraid this CJ is also dead. I'm so very sorry 'baout that both for you who follow this CJ and for me 'couse I've worked really hard on the city and I hate too loose another city. I have to restart again and I can't promise that I'll start another CJ since I'm sick and tired of this. If anyone know anything about this PLEASE help me! Some info on the matter: I haven't downloaded or removed any mods lately. I have downloaded the patch from Focus, but that was after the crashing started and I downloaded it only to try to fix it. This isn't the first time I've come across this. I's been happening to all of my cities after a while. They just stop working without a warning and I can't notice a patern in the crashes. I get no error message the game just CTD's without any message what so ever. Thanks if you can help, otherwise thanks for suporting my CJ's //Luddmamm

A small update tonight! In the area between Trinity and Downtown there's a new stadion being built. Construction just started right next to the highway. Some pics: And I'll throw in a slightly updated map of the subways system. (still can't figure out how to make a nice bus map ) ENJOY!

First an announcment! I didn't really like the name "East Beach" so I renamed it to "Trinity" Okey with that done I'll give you the update! I've wroked alot with Trinity and expanded it towards the shore line. With some higher density building close to the beach and a small expansion of the subway system. Big luxurious hotels and exclusive shopping. A big white beach and some beach side villas. Also the low density areas have got some touchups. Trinity Beach side villas Three big hotels at Palm Avenue A exclusive fashion store on Palm Avenue Some pics from the low density area The home of the world famous designer Tony Blackla The former mayor David Lindberger's house Resident of the big movie star Nadine Scott And as I told you I've made some small chnges in Downtown, probobly nothing you can see but I'll show you some pics anyway And not too long ago the revealing of Marinora's new icon took place at the location by the Marinora River close to the Marinora City Hall. Haha don't know if it's "massive" but yeah there's some repetation in the weastern Downtown, but that's mostly allready taken care of The pics of Downtown in the latest update is actually kinda old.... I have another update coming pretty soon with a touched up Downtown and a MASSIVE expansion of the East Beach Suburb. (And a touch up + small expanion of the subway map) So stay tuned!

Okey! Some pics from the first suburb! East Beach In short: East As the name tells this suburb is locataed east of Downtown down at the beach. It's a very wealthy suburb with big luxury houses and exclusive stores. The subway runs through and under the houses and connects East Beach with Downtown together with the highway. At the moment the area closest to the shore line haven't been developed, but since the wealthy population in Marinora is growing fast, the area will not stay that way for long. In the area closest to the higway there's a mall and other small stores along woth some exclusive condos. Pics: The areas close to Downtown is also growing nice and steady. The heavy traffic between Downtown and the growing suburbs are cousing some mayor pile ups and sometimes accidents. To take care of this City Hall have started constuction of the Marinora Subway. The first two lines have been opened for traffic but are still under construction for the finishing touches. No other lines have been presented, but the Mayor have promised more lines and future expansion of the two new lines. The current lines are the East-Downtown line (Red) and the Capital line (yellow) Here's the first map of many of the subway system. I'll do a map of the bussystem later when it grows a bit and I find a good way to make a busmap x( That's it for now! Hope you enjoy!

Good ideas everyone! I've slowly started building, and just as Marinora and Garnica I have started with Downtown, and working my way out into the suburbs. Here are some teasers before I start the updates for real ;D Teaser 1: Teaser 2: Teaser 3:

WOHOO!! I'm finally back! It's been almost two months since I ended my old CJ Marinora City. Since then I've been busy in school, personal stuff and beta testing CXL 2011. Since I got such a huge response on my old CJ of course I want to continue! But new times are coming, and so does CXL 2011. This forces me to start over with a new city, which I would like to be as good as or hopefully better than Marinora City. You should expect mostly the same things with loads of maps, city plans and pictures. I want it to be a modern and well developed city, and I'm aiming for a mix of American and European architecture, with both grid roads, big open parks and long avenues. Of course I will use all the new features in CXL 2011 like a Chinatown a metro system etc. etc. Also expect lots of landmarks and blueprint throughout the city. Ok let's talk about the actual city! This new city is called Garnica City. I'm using the "Coastal Plain" -map (I might me wrong, I'll check later) I'm using expert mode and some small cheats and mods. This is because I enjoy the actual building and not so much taking care of my creations. Like I did with Marinora I will start backwards with Downtown and work my way out into the suburbs. This is a fast but messy technique so don't look to much at the lay outs in the first posts since the lay out might change very much very fast. I've just started planning the different areas and I'm working on a map that I'll put up tomorrow. But tonight I'll just tease you with this city logo: Tell me what YOU want to see!!!

At the moment we are just here on ST, in the forums, but as we grow bigger, I hope to see maybe at first our own category in the Cities XL forums, and in the future hopefully a kind of official website. To start of I'll post my application, and a list of what you need to show to be considered. The starting "alliance" is me Damstius and hotChoclate and we'll vote on the first applications, but as soon as your in you will have the same authority to vote on anything.
