Ground Light Rail (GLR), or trams is a hack of the El-Rail to make the El-Rail on the ground or a road, like a tram. It comes standard with the NAM, although you'll have to download stations separately. Rail, is exactly as you'd expect.

Oh yeah, I had the same problem. But here's how you do it: Images have to be hosted on a site like Photobucket, or Image Shack. You have to register (it's free), then you can upload the images. Each image will have a url, depending on where you want to post them. In the reply window there is a icon to insert an image, just copy the url in the space provided. If the image is larger than 800x600, or 600x800 pixels, you need to resize it. You can do that in that same window where the url goes. Always use jpg format for the images. The picture will show in a preview box when it works.

Yeah, it is definitely flat. it doesn't even work in the rush hour tutorial.

Taxis are only generated when you have an airport. I know, it sucks.

Hell, use GLR. At least you can see where the line is, plus you can hook it up to El-Rail/Subway. I personally use normal rail, but in dense areas you cant exactly do that.

Welcome back, and so sorry to hear that you lost your job. Anyway, some things that people haven't mentioned are the various tram stops, as the NAM includes trams but no stops, and Smoncries Hole Digging Lots. These help when trying to build tunnels & sunken highways.

Thats cool. While I'm at it, my El-Rail stations dont connect to the lines, nor do tollways to roads. Can anyone help?

how would it make the traffic go bezerk? The normal roads work, so why not GLR. I guess ill have to make a land bridge.

Yeah, the game is unrealistic as sims dont like to go very far for jobs.

Have a major event, like an earthquake or a fire. See how th city recovers.
