Okay, so i recently bought SC4 deluxe and quite frankly I'm have a pretty smooth experience, up until now, atleast. I started my first city and built up a pop of around 200000 people. The city is approximately 1/2 of a large map. Now, whenever i try to load this city it displays the loading screen briefly, before crashing to the desktop. I can enter any of my other cities in the region. I'm running the latest patch with NAM april 08. My pc is 3500+ AMD, 2gb ram, 8500gt 1GB so i dont think the problem is my hardware, but knowing maxis... So, can anyone help me with any ideas to fix this? Help is much appriciated. Okay. Thankyou very much for the help Captcity. Ive backed up my working cities and reinstalled deluxe and NAM. Hopefully i wont have the same problem again. Time to get my main metropolis up and running again! =) On the the bright side, the commute was pretty poor...

NAM is all i have running currently. The game did crash when i was working on my highway so that might be the cause. I didn't back my city up, guess ill have to from now on.

I started the city without NAM, and installed it halfway through. I saved it a couple times with NAM, before it just crashed to the desktop mid game. Now i can't load that city anymore.
