Hi all, I am in a bit of a rush, so I have not had the time to check these to see if they are already posted. Hi all and thanks for the many quick respones. I do have NAM, although not the new one that has been listed. I'll look into the lack of $$$ jobs, but isnt that normaly shown as a breifcase with a red cross over it? These buildings specifically state that the building '... has been abandoned due to the long commute time'. I think I might have read somewhere that $$$ sims do not use public transport. Is this correct? Cheers Lee

Hi, I have slowly managed to build my self some High Density $$$ wealth residential. However, I am now having problems with vacany due to 'long commute times'. How do I counteract this? I have a great rail and bus network and have now just placed a subway system but it seems to have made no difference. I have tried to post a pic here, but not sure its worked. Lee

So..... basically the slower the traffic on the road the noisier? I thought it might have been the other way around. Sadly I do not have the cash for Underground trains just yet. Cheers for teh replies guys. Lee

Hi, I was wondering how i reduce traffic noise near my $$$ wealth High density? I have severed links to certain parts of the road, but that doesnt seem to work and only increases traffic elsewhere. I have tried changing roads into streets which i thought would reduce traffic noise ie a smaller road, but that actualy seemed to increase the noise. Any ideas please? Lee

I uninstalled NAM and it still didnt work. So i reinstalled the game and it worked!!!! I then reinstalled NAM and it stopped working. So...... I'm not sure if this is the place for NAM advice, but can someone please assist me from here or point me in the direction i need to resolve this. Cheers lee

Upon further investigation I have established that monorail also does not work, but the subway does. Its odd as the stations for the train and monorail both show that cars and buses stop there, however, it shows no pedestrian use. Also when you click on the track for mono and rail it shows no use, however, when clicking on the subway it does show useage. PLease....can someone help? I am going to try and re-install without NAM or maybe ill remove that first and see what happens. Lee

I'll give that a go, however, my sims are not using the trains either. The only thing using the stations are cards and pedestrians. Its as though the sims go to the station and then just disapear. I started another map nearby and have placed bus stops there. However, when i click on the buildings it shows that they are fully manned however there are no travel routes to and from the buildings. It says that there are zero commuters! Lee

Hi, My new copy of Simcity 4 Delux arrived today.... Hooray!!! However, I am having problem with it. My sims do not want to use the train! I have around 15 stations in a town with 20,000 population. I have set the map up with with Avenues, Roads and rail link all places and into other maps at many locations. Even my freight is not using the train (freight station). I have downloaded NAM (April 2008) version from this website and have downloaded a few builings from Maxis. Any ideas? Cheers Lee
