I would like to know if traffic noise is a street property with a range, affecting all residents or just those living on the busy street (i.e. where the arrows of the lots point to). Imagine a crossing between an avenue and a road where there is a house at the corner. Main traffic goes through the avenue.
a) House "points" directly to the avenue
b) House "points" to the road, having the avenue on its side
Will traffic noise differ between these two scenarios?
Does anyone have a good grid layout in mind to reduce traffic noise? Rich sims always take their car, so to a certain extent, noise cannot be avoided.
