There's Civilization, of course. And Age of Empires, but your probably knew these titles. Give Europa Universalis a try if you're into deep strategy. Old game but still good for a couple of hours play is OpenTTD For just a short break from daily routine I would suggest Brickshooter

Downloads for SimCity work with Mac as well??

Most things will, just drop them in copy your plug-ins folder and run Simcity. Note that your regions (savegames) are located in your personal folder (User / Documents / Simcity 4), while your plugins go into the Applications / Simcity folder. -
I had Rosetta installed, so that shouldn't be the problem. But never mind, it's working again

Just Unzip the NAM for Mac archive you've downloaded, and drop it into the Simcity 4 / Simcity 4 Data / Plugins No need to rearrange DAT-files or something. That should do it!
