Ok, I think it's time I put my map skills to use and started contributing to the squad. So far I have the idea of creating a scale map of Runescape, the online game by Jagex. I am hoping to create it to real scale and trying to get the right terrain elevations whether they be tiny hills or huge mountains. Before I do do it though, I would like to see if you like the idea. I also have another map in mind which will most probably be created anyway, I just hope that it works out how I'd like it to. Feedback and suggestions are more than welcome! Mr Veggie.

After much consideration, I am forced to resign from Mapp Squad permanently. The reason: I STILL need a new computer to render these regions and I've been out for so many months in the hope that I will get one. However, due to severe family break-ups, the financial situation of my family and I is looking extremely grim and I don't know if I will ever be able to update it any more. This means that I won't be able to render any regions for Mapp Squad anymore, forcing me to make the deeply regretable decision of my resignation. I have left this community in the lurch for so long it isn't fair on you guys to drag it out any longer. I wish for my member label to be removed since it will no longer be required. I wish I didn't have to do this, but I have no other choice. I've enjoyed being a part of this community of mappers and have learnt a lot and I thank you all! If the CJ isn't ready yet, why post the thread now? At the moment this thread is just sitting pointlessly in the CJ forum with no purpose but to cause unnecessary confusion. Also, I wouldn't recommend spamming your own topic by advertising your profile. It's just pointless. Maybe I'll come back when your journal is ready.

I use Landscape designer for my maps. I find it makes very nice maps. I also use SCRACC but it's quite difficult to use. It's a shame we can't make our own maps in-game and use those. When I get a new computer I can help you if you need some pointers (not been able to make any maps for a while...).
