What you are seeing is a ship or ferry going across the water, however, it is too dark to see the ferry and you only see its wave thingys at the sides.https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/images/smilies/9.gif> -

simmars-forum-threads Sim Mars Textures.
MrVegetable replied to GouRou's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
Hey, I have a game that has some sort of Martian texture! I will try and post a pic of it but it will be difficult for me. -
Actually Dolfan, I have read many an article that the next GTA will be in Las Vegas! Been playing rct2 a little while ago and have made a well cool scenario. Can't wait to see the other features of the game apart from 3D graphics and coaster camera.

OH YEAH! I recently got RCT2 and am playing it lots. Go to the actual site cause I'm registered there. www.rollercoastertycoon.com My username is the same as here (As it is with Maxis and any other site I register at in the future. This next one should give ye olde Theme Park World a run for its money with the new camera an all.

OK, this Nexis kid is an ascendant of the person who creates Nexis. Maybe YOU are that person!

What would happen is special types of algae would generate heat, and electricity - as well as oxygen for the atmosphere. ---------------- Biomass needs plants. Biomass is the burning of plants and leaves etc. More than certain that there are no plants on Mars. Oxygen, how about an 'Air-Conversion' building. It takes air from Mars' atmosphere and converts it through various chemical reactions into oxygen. Garbage could be made into useful resources. -

Solar would be the best option for power. Microwave could be possible, with a satillite Concentrating the power of the sun and beaming it down as microwaves. Sanitation is a hard on as rubbish from lanfills would just float away with the new gravity. Landfills with a protecting dome i suggest. -

Pegasus explained it better than me. Oh yeah! Disasters, Asteroids! Not just small ickle meteors, HUMUNGOUS ASTEROIDS!!! They could wipe out most of a small city = 1/4 medium tile = 1/16 large tile! Will leave huge crater! -

simmars-forum-threads Sim Mars, a SC4 Conversion
MrVegetable replied to GouRou's topic in SC4 Modding - Open Discussion
Hmm, Blackbeard gave me a thought. Is this a completely new game as such? Would we be able to keep simcity on Earth whilst having Mars as well? Maybe I didn't phrase this right. Pegasus, nice tube. Where is this being made? I would love to see the progress from the UK. -
This Nexis kid must go to Genesis himself if one of the cities is named after him! Maybe that his how he makes history? I was nearly right, but not quite (Darn!) which is a shame. When are we to hear more on Mahoon? That interests me./emoticons/23.gif>

Okay then. I was wrong about water and we could melt the ice. Soalr power will be very useful. How about a plant that can convert the iron like substance into power (Not the rock. Apparently you can find some sort of iron on Mars)? What about sanitation? Wouldn't the low gravity send it flying? Then again, we could have a solar powered waste-to-energy plant. Transportation, we could have silver roads with small walls to show the sides of the road. This could be an expensive road or something. Also that would mean sidewalks would need to be elevated up from the pavement but we should have hover-cars so that would work well. This must be my longest post ever on ST./emoticons/9.gif> -

Uh, how about a teleporter so as to teleport materials to and from Mars? Would be a utility. There would be no way of having water systems either as there is no water there! I would be happy to give Utility ideas at any time when I ain't at school. -

Hey, if this is going to be, like, in the future, if any of you have watched a cartoon called Dragonball Z they have really thin buildings with massive 'ball' structures on the top. Also you could have an air re-fill station to stock up on air (avaliable in utilities). Think these are good enough for the game? -

MrVegetable replied to GouRou's topic in SC4 Modding - Open Discussion
I see a problem. How are we gonna make this SimMars if the community is spread all around the world? Chances are we can't send it through e-mail or this BB. And only 100-200 may actually have any skill on making games. Sure, if I find time between school and revision, I may be able to help with testing, but I dunno how it can be done. Maxis might not like it either.
