  1. SimCity 4 Music Collection - Complete

Okay, let's see if I did this right. Go here: http://rapidshare.com/files/162867237/Music_from_SimCity_3000_Unlimited.rar and see if it works out. Again, they're all credited to Jerry Martin since I don't have the real information, so if someone has more accurate info, I'd be happy to update the files.
  2. SimCity 4 Music Collection - Complete

Thanks to lurking this thread a few weeks back, I found out about the extra music in SC3K Unlimited that wasn't there in the original game (never played Unlimited, myself), so the other day I borrowed my brother's copy and went to work on it. I grabbed the original .XAs from the music folder, converted them to .wav files using a program from way back in '01 that I found, converted those to MP3s, tagged them all up, and now they're part of my MP3 player's SimCity playlist. It's not necessarily the highest quality rip, but it's more than adequate for my needs; at 192 kbps, the five tracks ended up at 36.3 MB for 26:28 of music. Anyway, where would be a good place to upload them? Also, regarding tags, I just credited them all to Jerry Martin, since that seems to be a safe bet for when I don't know who actually did a song. Does anyone know who actually wrote each track? Oh, and as for other music to add to the playlist: for old-school fun, I added the soundtracks to the SNES version of SimCity and SC2K, as well as the aforementioned SC3K+U to my SC4 playlist. The older stuff doesn't really have the same feeling to them, but it amuses me to listen to them. Since I often listen to video game music anyway, I also added a playlist of various RPGs' overworld and town themes, and more often than not they're decently fitting, calm, pleasant city-building music. I can't really see Joe Satriani's music in a SimCity context, but I suppose some of his slower songs could work. I would recommend listening to the NPR program Hearts of Space, because it's got all sorts of Electronic, Ambient, Classical, Acoustic, and World Music-type stuff that, to me, fit really well with the feeling of SimCity's music. To re-iterate the important part of the post since it was buried in the middle of a paragraph: where's a good place to upload the SC3K Unlimited music so it's convenient for me to put up and for everyone else to download?
