Sacred Valley - Update 1, Intro to the Fairfield - North Valley Area
Chadly posted a topic in SC4 City Journals
Welcome to my new city journal! My New CJ is called Sacred Valley, it is one of the few(the first?) City Journals that will be using the snow mod(constantly). The Entire Map has about 8 million sims and I'm almost finished with it. Any Questions just ask me, but please leave comments. Sacred Valley has three major Metropolitan Area's, Today you will be seeing half of the Fairfield Metropolitan Area, or rather you are getting an introduction to it, as Update two(Next Weekend probably) will focus on them in greater detail. ----------------- Fairfield [ North Valley ---------- I know it was a small update, but Its something Please Please Give me comments and I will try to remember to comment yours. Thankyou! -
No Comments Anways, Sacred Valley is Coming along, I never knew how different it was playing with the snow mods. I would like to tell you all a bit about the cities and towns so far. So here is the main info/stats of some cities that are done. Fairfield metro area -Fairfield The Main City(Currently, there are other promising areas that could become bigger and better) is Fairfield, with a population around 510,000. Fairfield is Both the Commercial Hub and the Industrial Hub of the Fairfield Metropolitan area, with almost 300,000 Jobs in Commercial and 50,000 in Industry. Fairfield alone does not have enough sims to keep all the business owners with full employment, so it depends on the surrounding cities to commute there, which is why the Fairfield metro area contains subway, rail, bus, highway, and even a few ferry routes to get sims to their jobs. Fairfield Boasts Huge Skyscrapers in both the Ruby and Willow business districts, and some family owned businesses spread through out South Fairfield. Fairfield has both a International and a Local airport to handle the millions of sims that travel Ice Fair Air Each Year, and has a Ferry that goes to 3 nearby cities that are connected via river. Fairfield is praised by citizens who love the school systems, but those citizens are also very mad that traffic and crime are so bad. -North Valley North Valley has a population of about 380,000 sims, and is located southwest of Fairfield. The Commercial Population is 80,000 and the Industry Population is about 22,000. North Valley is known for its Small town feel, although its a big city. North valley consists mostly of Suburbs except for the small core area around Glacier Boulevard and Alaska Avenue, where the few skyscrapers and apartment complexes are. The Sacred Valley Community Recreational Sports Arena is Located here, and is the home of the Sacred Snowballs, the almost made it to the Simlaska Playoffs last year. North Valley is also home of Snozdale University, the hardest to get into school in all of the Sadred Valley Area, which is also the reason why the most high tech jobs are located here. There isnt anything you can say bad about North Valley, except that it doesnt have much of a nightlife, other than the symphony. -Ankora Ankora has a population of 350,000 sims and is located on the east side of the main Fairfield area. Ankora has a commercial population of 60,000 and an Industry population of nearly 800 because it relies heavily on Fairfield. Ankora is suggested to be the most beautiful city in the region, with the mosts parks and extra curricular activities. The Ankora Area, has nearly 180m,00 people using the Rail and Subway systems, but unfortunatly there area a lack of conductors. Ankora is nearly all small apartment buildings, with no small or large density in the area, many sims leave it for variety of buildings -Frost Shores Frost Shores is completly Suburbs, and Small businesses, but it branches out. the city is as big as Fairfield, just not as dense. With a population of 180,000 Sims. and about 50,000 combined jons of industry and commerical. Frost shores is the coldest city in the region, so the population has only been steadily climbing, but it has decreased due to the pollution of the oil drilling of the glaciers. Frost shores may be bought by Fairfield as it is completly connected, and Frost shores is going broke. Hopefully thats a small taste. Thanks for reading!

I Have bad news. My Computer got a virus right before I went to put up update two, this is why I hate sharing computers with my sister(MY SPACE VIRUS's! >.<) We just got the computer wiped clean a few days ago. So there is no more Greater Aleuton. So I guess Im just destined to not have a CJ, or maybe Aleuton is just a curse? But I am going to try and persevere(Sorry if thats spelled wrong lol). My First CJ sucked, and my second was better, although they were short. So I have been spending some time trying to create a new CJ, because one day I will have my own (finished) CJ! --- Sometime between 2 weeks from now to 3 months from now you will be seeing Sacred Valley, my new CJ. It is a Snow City Journal, because I havent seen one(or havent found one). I have lots of STEX Commercial buildings, and Im working on getting some more residential. I got my night lights working, and I got the Bridge height mod. Sacred Valley is made off of two main rivers coming off of the coast, It Is a Fictional Metropolitan Area of Alaska, Near the Border of Canada. Sacred Valley is a Metro area with lots of oil drilling and industry, with some great commercial districts and residential skylines, branched out into suburbia. Right now there are 3 mains cities and 3 smalles cities in the region, but just the basic things have been done so far. Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated(really, I want an amazing CJ). Thanks.
