A very different update, but I have to admit, the fireworks and volcano are pretty cool. But would someone please tell me where you can get those bike paths? I've looked around, but I can't find them.

What I hate about Sim City 4... 1. Random crashing. I work hard on a city, gain 20 or so thousand people, forget to save, and it crashes me back to my desktop. It has nothing to do with lag though. I don't get lag on my computer. lol 2. Sims take shortest commute, not quickest. I give them a nice new highway, and they take the side streets to cut a couple hundred feet off the commute. 3.I've never played the old Sim Cities, but random disasters sound neat. 4.Would diagonal bridges be so hard? 5. Really, there is no five. Maxis did a good job creating this game, and like all games, it has a few bugs. But this isn't a bug infested virus, like some people make it sound. Sim City is a unique game, in a class of its own, and I think it should be more respected as such.

I'm using Vista, and I think I may have the same problem. I'll be playing SimCity4, and after about 20-40mins. the game crashes. The only difference is that for me when it crashes I go to the desktop every time. Sometimes it tells me Sim City 4 is encountering a problem and is looking for a solution, and other times it just quits. But the funny part is that if I save it every 15 mins. it doesn't ever quit on me! lol!
