Pass The Bunny V 2.0 Mdz1001's 1st Forum Game (sort of...) Since the first Pass the Bunny was eaten up by the server, I'll start it up again. Special credit goes to Ace_Fanatic for starting the first game. Geez, Dusktrooper, do you have to be so violent? The rules are the same as before, but PLEASE watch the 2-post rule. --tosses bunny in air--

Come on Blue Stars. Come on...
-
O well. 9-9, (i think) for BC... I kinda enjoyed it last year when my team always seemed to win...
-
Thanks for seeing my PM Sensman. Good luck to all, and I don't think my team will be as good as they were last year...
-
Terribly sorry I didn't get my roster in. Can I use last year's or do I have to make up a new one? (I would rather use last year's...)

I live outside of New York City. Normally, it should be around 35 degrees F, but today it was 68 degrees. Enough said, I guess... Stupid global warming... my snowboard is gathering dust in my garage...
-
Well it seems that a lot of people were born on October 1... Thank you for all of the kind wishes.
-
Shoot. I'm the defending champion and I forgot to check this thread... I've just been so darned busy that I haven't had any time to check things like this...
-
@ TMS: Done. Frankly, I don't know why this was moved in the first place either...

I am sorry for your loss, to lose a mother at such a young age. I have had two of my friends in my town that have had their mothers pass away due to cancer, so I kind of have an idea of how you must be feeling right now, but yet I still don't know. Stay strong, -Mdz1001

Date: 2/17/2006 1:03:57 AM Author: louisville327 Hull wasn't retired at the beginning of the season, so let the man play! Haha If anyone's interested, here are the teams arranged according to roster strength. The number was derived by finding the average of the team's player ratings, of course: 1. Binsur City Blue Stars 82 2. Yarmouth Wind 81.8 3. Orleans County Bills 81.37 4. Bend Black Lions 81.25 5. Elm City Batallion 81.1 6. Marceau Wildcats 81.01 7. Coventry Magicians 81 8. Bronco River BlackCats 80.8 9. Nova York Ice Warriors 80.6 10. Raging Bulls of Eureka 80.35 11. Doozerville Ice Demons 79.91 12. Rorysville Generals 79.9 13. Chesterfield Falcons 79.85 14. Westbrook Woodpeckers 79.81 15. Oakview Interceptors 79.6 16. Fairbrook Dolphins 79.57 17. Boondall Mighty Frogs 79.31 18. Pern City Dragons 79.3 19. Medaille Mavericks 79.21 20. London Knights 79.2 21. Ryushuka Rockets 79.1 22. St. Joseph Sea Dogs 79.05 23. Huntsville Hawks 78.7 24. Edmonton Jersey Devils 78.65 25. Duchati Ice Dragons 78.61 26. Amiton Aviators 78.6 27. CSKA Ilitj 78.59 28. Athenian Chauvanists 78.35 29. Earth City Jaguars 76 30. Monk Maggots (unknown, but will be the lowest) Now, the Division ranks, according to the average of all team rosters: 1. Messier Division 80.71 2. Macinnis Division 79.95 3. Stevens Division 79.75 4. Francis Division 79.6 5. Hull Division 79.2 6. Lemieux Division 79.1 These numbers are subject to change of course, but most trades are for equally ranked players, so as long as the ratings for traded players are close, the averages won't change very much. quote> Ooo. Me likey. Even though this doesn't necessarily translate into results on the ice, it sure does look good. I'm happy with my team as of now, so no changes for me.

ryanb_sc4: Thanks for doing that. I gotta get Photoshop... Whoops. I never should have put the side numbers there. It's kinda lacrosse-style and there would be no room for the C or A. But the uniforms still look alright, as do a lot of them. Maybe we should vote on the best jersey...

BC Blue Stars Release Uniforms: (I don't have Photoshop yet so I couldn't use the template) Home and Away https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//unispg1.jpg align=baseline> and Alternates: https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//unisalt.jpg align=baseline> I'm looking forward to working with my team.
-
O ok: I'll make a draft list: Marty Brodeur (shock) Sidney Crosby Dany Heatley Henrik Lundquist Ilya Kovalchuk Jaromir Jagr Bryan McCabe Niklas Lidstrom Scott Niedermayer Mikka Kiprusoff

https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//BCBSlogo.jpg align=baseline> Thanks for letting me sign up. Here is a quick logo.

Really? It looked like you guys were full, but if there is a final spot, I will be glad to sign up. Binsur City Blue Stars The BC Journal Forum Light Blue/Royal Blue/Black Logo: Coming Soon. I don't have enough time to make it right now. Theme Song: Let's Get it Started by Black Eyed Peas (okay, it's the first song that came to my head) Well, if I do get last pick, I can pretty much kiss Martin Brodeur goodbye. But Henrik Lundquist is pretty good, so I guess I can start there. But I'll take what I can get If your league is full, that's okay too. Just tell me and I won't bother making the logo.
-
Darn. Why am I always late to these things?... <kicks soda can> Nice league ya got here. I wish I just came early enough to sign up...

SimCity 2012 & 2014 Olympics Contest, Who will host?
Mdz1001 replied to dev's topic in Community Goings-on
TRAINPLANEMAN5: Please don't bump ridiculously old threads. This was originally for the Athens Olympics, not Torino. -MDZ -
Umm... A football league already exists, run by Nugget699, but it hasn't been updated in a while. Also, wasn't the Super Bowl yesterday? Didn't football just end? Or is this going to be Arena-style? Either way, we need more info on how exactly you plan to run the league.
-
I'm pretty sure this already exists. I know that TMS runs the Simtropolis Fantasy Football League, which I am in, but I do remember another league. Search in the Forum Games forum and maybe you can try to get in next year.

Date: 1/22/2006 2:35:40 AM Author: Cjah I don't what it is,but it feels like someone threw Binsur and Digby into a mixer and pulled out this CJ. Great start and interesting signs! quote> Did someone say Binsur? Even though I am not a road geek like you, I feel that the signs just make sense, and that's why I label them. Nice job, and you really go the extra mile with the traffic lights and guide signs, which is much more detail than I put in. Plus, the cities themselves look great, too. Keep it up.

We have our winners. 1. sloppet 2. Cjah 3. ephorex_77 Prizes will come shortly. Thanks to all who participated in Mdz1001's BAC 4. Look for the next one to occur sometime during the summer.
-
There are only a few days left in voting for the BAC 4, so get those votes in if you haven't already done so. Voter turnout has been a little lower than past contests, but that's OK. Remember, your vote counts!
