I have seen in many screenshots an avenue that has, instead of a median, a left turn lane running through it for both directions of traffic to use. In my hometown there are many of these and they are very convenient for traffic. But even if they don't affect the use of the median, they'd still be great eye candy. The only thing I've seen here matching my description has been removed from the STEX.
