You'll see that the farm buildings are inside the fertile area, that's where it counts.

Tian Jie and Quan Shui on Caliban would love to receive you as a visitor. -
I used to live in Dubai, I lived near this: National Bank of Dubai Headquarters, in Dubai. And from the Cities XL screenshots on the website: In game, described as a "multinational oil company" - er, not quite!

The PO is very cheap compared to other graphical online games you have to pay to play. At least there is the option not to subscribe if the online trading and city exploration is not your thing.

It's a real shame that the guy at EB screwed up and didn't order you the correct version, but still - reselling games is usually against the EULA of most software and games that you'll buy nowadays, so if you wish to "take issue with how MC conducts their business" with this regard, then you should also to take it up with Valve, EA and most other games publishers out there as they will not allow you to resell their game either.

My city Quan Shui is largely "Dead", I very rarely manage to sell most of my stuff to return it to positive cashflow.

Show off your cities! (Screen Shots)

My new city, Tian Jie ?? on Caliban server. City Hall! (yeah, I know my title is simplified chinese, but I prefer the look of the traditional a lot of the time so there ya go). Oh and there's some tower I'm building or something. Old Town area at night. Crop circles! My other city, Quan Shui ?? which started as a water producing city, but it's now REALLY difficult to maintain a positive cashflow. I have to pretty much sell everything I make in order to break even. It's getting quite frustrating! City hall! And a bunch of other stuff. Quan Shui stands for Spring Water y'know. MASSIVE traffic problems. I got to fix this! -
ThisIsSka, on Caliban. Any other Caliban players on here?

I have to say that Cities XL is extremely Europe/America centralised with regards to the megastructures, except for the couple of Japanese megastructures that can be built. What happened with the Petronas Towers? (Kuala Lumpar) Or The Bird's Nest? (Beijing) Or Taipei 101?(Taipei, Taiwan) or the Sydney Opera House?(Erm, Sydney) Or the Novotel HK(oh waiiiii...) I spent a year working in Dubai. Lots of big buildings that would be awesome for Megastructures there. There are two very obvious ones, the Burj al Arab and Burj Dubai (Tallest building in the world once it's complete!). But I'd personally be happier to see the more understated, yet still prominent feature of the Dubai Skyline, the Emirates Towers: 50k upkeep, +3 holiday tokens, +10% offices profits anyone? It's fun seeing megastructures from around the world, keep this thread rolling!
