  1. Functional Landmarks mod crashing

This is because your Landmarks existed already within your city before you applied his mod. The only known way to overcome this would be to (in this order): 1. Take a snapshot of your city to capture all the Landmark's location and placement within your map. 2. Knock them all down. 8-/ 3. Exit game and print out your saved city (inside the albums folder). 4. Install selected mods in a folder called 'Landmarks' and place this into the Documents>SimCity 4>Plugins! folder (that way you can place n pull them all out at will onto your desktop if you find errors. 5. Go back to your city and pray (hopefully it won't lock up during cityvisit, if it does, you missed a building in there and have to find it by restarting the game without the Landmarks folder installed in the Plugins folder). 6. Take a look at your picture and re-place all the landmarks. NOTE: If you save this game like that you'll HAVE to replace the entire Region (like i do...) to make this transition official. His mod really does work however sims increase by about %12 to %20, plus it reduces (not get rid of) the unemployed zots (those unemployed flags above buildings) in the city, but not by much. So is it worth it? Compare it to your SC4D Fan-omiter! I love it in my 2nd region! (New York) Hope this helps. Long live mods!!
  2. Me too; Having problems making skin with Reader (ilive), DatGen and FishMan. ALL-im-TRYING-to-do is Make a Train for SC4D & place my skin on it, then place the NEW train in the game. The common problems I'm having are: 1. Adobe make skin in same template of soon2b replaced skin > exports skin > insert file > *Reader crashs* after clicking s3d meshfile at top (thats fine, bug, i know), play game and RED, GREEN, BLUE trains! 2. Same process as above however I get this problem - Appearantly, backdrop colors White and Black are induced during the importing/exporting file into .DAT transition. I would like to be a trainguy, cranking out serious trains (with grafitti randomly showing up on them!) if someone can help out; I know this is easy. Just "What do I use and in What sequence I use it??" -DN- eagerBeaver
