Well, I was trying to install my The Sims game after many years (They're still in great condition). After I installed all of them I could, it went fine, but then yesterday morning, I tried to destroy a building, and then the game crashed. And now, it continues to crash once it gets to the neighborhood, even though I already uninstalled and reinstalled the game numerous times. Also, I already tried to put the game into windowed mode. So is there anything that can be done?

I mean that I deleted a house. Yeah, I needed to be more specific, didn't I?

Well, it's the first Sims, and I'm running XP. Also, The Sims has worked before on the same computer. However, I deleted something, and now it won't work at all, even if it's uninstalled and reinstalled. Also, it fails, even if I don't put in any expansion packs.

Random Explosion Disorder (or RED) is my term for one or more types of terribly unlucky things that plague you (It doesn't always have to explosions though, but mines does). And when I mean unlucky, I mean really freaking unlucky. SSBB, to start this off, has given me my RED involving explosions. For me, this involves: Tripping whilst holding a bomb, and exploding on you. Falcon Punching bombs (Twice). Using Ike's Neutral B, and having a Blast Box appear on your side. Attacking bombs instead of picking them up on accident. Using smash attacks on bombs that generate in the way. Etc. Etc. Etc. So do you have this unfortunate disease of sorts? Tell us stories of things that always plague you. Remember, it doesn't always need to involve explosions.

I'd say to use these Rural Parking Lots near mass transit: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=1879 This way, you can get sims to use that park-and-ride system, without those big multi-level parking lots.

You could build another bridge, but I would recommend that you encourage sims to use mass transit. Subways or ferries should work fine.
