After searching the forum for more info on this issue, it looks like many people are having this problem. The Moderators keep suggesting that people download FireFox of WinRaR, but I also tried to do this and it still does not work. The issue is obviously something with the STEX that they either they can't fix, or don't know how to fix. It's unfortunate, but hopefully someone will be able to fix the problem before more people leave ST.

I have tried using IE5 and IE7 both time i get the same "corrupt" message. I have also downloaded at least 5 different versions of WINZIP and WINRAR to no avail.

Hello, I recently had to have a new hard drive installed on my computer. I lost all my SC files. I am trying to download from the STEX and some files will unzip fine, while with other files, I get a message the the file is corrupted. When I try to download the same file on another computer, the file downloads fine. I have tried turning off all antivirus, cookies are allowed. PLEASE HELP!!!
