5345 I should do a cleanup myself. Firefox has been weird for me lately. I can't get any audio on soundcloud or youtube but I can get audio from other sites. I've cleared my cookies and updated but the issue remains. I would just switch to chrome (which runs audio without issue) but I'm too lazy to move all my bookmarks and then deal with the fact I can't possibly remember all of my passwords. It's no trouble to reset passwords but... ugh... maintenance. One of these days I'll get around to it. Anyway, greetings from the Carolinas. I've driven the new car in 11 states in the first 5 months. ME, NH, VT, MA, NY, OH, WV, VA, NC, SC and of course, PA. I was in NJ in June but with another vehicle. I poked around Rock Hill, SC today. Beautiful little town.

5328 I too find serenity in urban places. I live in a suburb but am within the city limits of Pittsburgh pretty regularly. Most recently for jury selection. I didn't get picked. I had been assigned to selection last month... and forgot to go. They were cool about it when I called in and just rescheduled me for this week.

You'd be surprised. About a year and a half ago I was complaining similarly, that all the women in New York City were in one way or another just not my type, and "my type" seemed to be some sort of mythical creature. I was seriously considering trying to move to somewhere else where I figured I might have better luck (funny enough, Pittsburgh was one of my top choices). Then I met someone in New York City who met the mythical criteria, and we've been together for 14 months now. 5308 Ah yes, the mythical criteria. I find what I look for in a woman is often something that's simply the opposite of that one thing that irked me the most about the last girl. I try not to envision my "ideal woman" too much because frankly, many a woman could be one that I could build a relationship with. Sometimes you just gotta get to know someone. Though typically, it seems that I find myself attracted to someone and once I know them better the attraction fades, as opposed to the other way around. Moving on (I always screw up the formatting for multi quotes so...) Good luck in Cleveland, Spidey. I helped move my buddy up there a few weeks ago and I've already been back twice. Once to pick him up and bring him back to Pittsburgh for his birthday, and then returning him. He moved to North Olmsted. I Haven't explored the neighborhood just yet. I've never played a Fallout game before, mostly due to my hiatus from console gaming but it sounds like a really cool game. Friends have raved about past installments. I just got AC Syndicate though so I've got plenty left to do with that one. I rather like those games after playing Black Flag and Unity.

5301 That was a busy month. Sorry I haven't been around. I logged in to change my siggy (thanks for the direction :)) but I got distracted halfway through. Now I've been talking to my ex all day. I have got to start dating women my own age. Yet single, date-able 35 year old women are like some kind of mythical creature that may or may not actually exist. If I still drank like I used to I'd be knee deep in Newcastle by about now. Instead I'm just gonna play xbox until 4 in the morning. That oughtta do the trick.

5266 S.F.W. is a mediocre movie that I saw when I was a teenager and no idea what a good movie was so I still really like it. IMDb page. Again, it's a good movie but not great. Although I played it for a girl I was dating last year and she adored it. She apparently recommended it to a number of her customers at The Exchange. Can someone remind me how to edit my sig? I tried to to just that about 2 weeks ago and now my image is expired so.... yeah. Thanks in advance!

5262 Tobey Maguire's career seems to have stalled a bit in recent years. I always liked Pleasantville and the first 2 Spiderman movies he did. I like to show the movie S.F.W. to people who have never seen it and watch their reaction when his only scene comes up. Good movie, not great but one of my old favorites.

5259 I watched Meaning Of Life with my cousin last night. He didn't laugh a whole lot but he did say it was brilliant afterward.

5256 It was when I was in college that I was first introduced to the Monty Python movies. My dad had previously taken proper measure to ensure that I was aware of Monty Python's Flying Circus (I still remember the first episode I saw, Blancmanges) but the movies truly solidified my appreciation for that troupe, and further, British humor as a whole. To this day I adore British film and tv. If you've never seen the show Peep Show, watch it immediately. It's on US Netflix. "Hitler promised not to invade Czechoslovakia, Jeremy." The ninth and final season was filmed this summer. I am eagerly awaiting its release.

5251 "Huh-ha!" Beyond that, I highly recommend driving through Vermont. The air is so... breathable. Coincidentally, while I was doing just that this past weekend, my cousin told me he has never seen any of the Monty Python movies. I was referencing The Meaning of Life and he was returning a blank stare. This will not do!

5231 Being from Pittsburgh, I'm well aware of the rivalry between the two cities. It's mostly a football thing, which I couldn't care less about. I became quite fond of Cleveland when my sister lived in Shaker Heights. Unfortunately, my last two visits there resulted in me hating the place. Rude, inconsiderate people were all that I came across. It really tainted the city's reputation as far as I'm concerned. I vowed to never return but soon my best friend will live there and the drive is not long, so I'll be back.

5228 I have never eaten poutine. I had to google it but it looks like something I'd eat. I'm of course interested in getting some lobster or proper clam chowder while there. After these three I still need AK, WA, OR, ND, MN, MI, AR, MS and AL. 5 minutes ago my best friend informed me he's been transferred to Cleveland. I am of sadness. Luckily, Cleveland is not all that far from here but who am I gonna play scrabble with? He and I loathe playing that game with anyone but each other. We jazzed up the rules a little bit which is why. Some people don't like our version of the game. I'm really gonna miss him.

5225 I woke up this morning and decided to drive to Maine. Not this morning of course. That's far too spontaneous a decision to make so I'm going to drive there this weekend. I've never been to Maine, New Hampshire or Vermont so I can knock off 3 more states. More importantly road trip!

5198 I've seen them 9 times now (Deftones) and have discovered many a good band through their openers. I saw Crosses and Team Sleep too. Those Chino side projects are varied. All over the place musically. My go to ice cream is "moose tracks" which has tiny peanut butter cups and fudge swirls, so yeah... bits'll do for me. Though I don't really like hard chocolate chips (the ones actually shaped like chips) in ice cream or cherries and stuff like that.

5174 Yeah now that you mention it, that iPod is pretty old but chock full of musical goodness indeed. Despite the fact I've reached the halfway point of my 30's, I'm still listening to a lot of new music. However, lately I can't stop listening to People Under the Stairs which dates back to the 90s. A new Blackalicious album is coming out very soon though. I'm excited for that. Anyone ever listen to Death From Above 1979? I saw them open for Deftones last month in Columbus and they were pretty rockin.

5170 To this day I don't keep any cash in my wallet. I got into the habit of just keeping cash next to my wallet inside my pocket when I waited tables. A wad of $84.00 in singles doesn't exactly fit inside a wallet. So if anyone demanded my wallet, they might be disappointed. I haven't ever been mugged in the traditional sense but someone tried to make off with my bag while their partner in crime distracted me. They were unsuccessful. I see everything. Although in that case, I actually heard him going for my bag as opposed to seeing him do it. Someone robbed my apartment about two years ago but all they took was a stash of cash I had in a drawer. I mean I had a 64gb iPod sitting right there on the coffee table but they didn't bother with it. All they took was the cash. Likely someone I know. I've always suspected my old roommate (from a different apartment) because he is, unfortunately, a junkie now. Either he or the guy down the hall who moved out that week and left our landlord high and dry on a few months rent.

5159 I went to a bachelor party in WV a few months back. I passed a gas station that was proudly displaying a sign that read; We now have pay-at-the-pump! Makes we wonder when the last time was that I saw an old style gas pump like the ones that resemble the gas icons still in most of our cars.

5149 Without you alerting me to it, I wouldn't have known she's working. A do-do ya love me?

5143 When I heard he died I thought of you too.

5137 CMLs. ??? Aha! Custom Member Labels. I was like a lost child there for a minute. I considered googling it. But all is well now.

5112 Driving is pretty awesome. I'm taking a short road trip to Columbus, OH tomorrow. Why, you ask? To see my favorite band, Deftones, for the 9th time. This will be the first time seeing them since 2010. Yeah, I'm pretty psyched. I love their music so much. New album in September too!

5098 My sister met her husband on a dating site. Circa 1999.

5087 The speedometer reads both kph and mph but only one at a time. I have it set to mph obviously but I can change it if I like. There is only one meter so when the driver switches it just makes the needle move more or less along the meter which goes as high as 220. At first I said to myself "I don't think this thing can do 220 mph." Then I figured it out. It kinda "shrinks" the usable part of the meter(when set to mph) making it difficult to read which is why a digital speedometer is also included.

5080 It's weird switching. Before I drove in Ireland several years back I was so worried I wouldn't be able to shift with my left hand. I had absolutely no trouble doing so. Parallel parking was tough to get used to though. Coincidentally, I must, once again, refresh myself with parallel parking because the Terrain is a smidge bigger than the Honda Civic I was driving. phil; naw, not even close. That would have been a happy coincidence. Duke: I bought it with 48,865. It's from Quebec. The onstar personality was speaking to me in French which, despite studying for 4.5 years, I am not fluent in speaking.

5072 Main branch of NYPL. I don't know why I thought anyone would be able to guess that. Hey hey I bought a "new" car today. 2011 GMC Terrain. I'm rather fond of it.
