    Sorry to reply so late, but I've beeen real busy with schoolwork the last couple of days. I've started making the new piece for the ped. tiles, but there is a problem. I attached the fille with what I was working on. It is the 1x2 piece. It looks great in the reader, but when I try to use it in the game it makes everything screwy, it makes the entire graphics engine go crazy. Can someone take a look at it. Also could a mod delete the last two post. Thanks DON'T download this file unless you know what you are doing.

I really haven't done any batting, so moving the points around on the texture is sort of foreign to me. Did you just shrink it in a little, to keep the edges from fraying out and running out of texture? Please let me know how you improved that, so that when I tidy up these lots they are as good as they can be quote> I just noticed that the points where off a little. So I entered in exact #'s instead of the strange decimals that where there. Also I changed the height of the plane from .2 to .1. For some reason tropod had it higher then it need to be. To make the tiles darker I just darkend the texture in photoshop. For some reason the game brightens the tiles. I'd be willing to help make the lots into ped. tiles, but I'm afraid I don't know how to do that. If tell me how you wouldn't have to do all the work.

    I didn't like how the ped. tiles where so bright. So I darkened up the texture up a bit to make them fit better. Also I made a change or two to the UV Map, so it looks nicer. Here is a side by side of the new and old, and for reference the square with the potted tree is a lot. Also Andreas Roth, I'd be willing to make a new piece with that texture. I like that one a little better too.

    Thanks for all the comments. Oniel_1 now that you mention the tables something doesn't look right. Gmax keeps loosing a texture or two, and I didn't notice that the tables are missing their textures. Doh! I'll work on re-rendering it soon, with a better sign also.

  10. You can find it in the mods section. I've given up hope for now. Bat for Max seems to have a mind of it's own. I can't seem to get it working with night lights no matter what I do. Maybe by some act of god I'll be able to figure out a pattern, or it will magicly fix itself.
  11. Well after not playing with this for a month or so I decided to take another go at it. I still can't seem to get it to work. Everything seems to work fine until I add night lights. I've tried to see if it it happens at a certain number of lighst , and it seems that it is fine until 30 enabled lights. Yet sometimes it fails with 30, and sometimes it works with 30. The only thing that is constant with the failures is that it renders zoom 5 and 4 then fails. I'm wondering if it is just something wierd I am doing. Can someone else try and render the model for me. So I know if it is the model screwing things up or my install is. The model can be found here . Thanks

    Nope the name of the Trump tower didn't change. There is a tower that has been in the works called the Sapphire Tower( http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/bu/?id=171040 ). Recently the builder of that building and Trump have had a litle mini-height war. The Sapphire Towers height was increased to be taller than Trumps building. Mr Trump though, not to be out done, raised the height of his building. Also emporis's renderings for the Sapphire are outdated. Here is a newer one.
  13. Ok, I'm having problems agian, I must be the problem child . When I try and render a building it keeps giving me export errors. The strange thing is the error number changes if I remove of add an object to the scene. Ussually it is some where in betweer 24 and 34. Also when I render just a box for a test it works.
