I am trying to recreate a New England like region and can't figure out a good Terrain and Tree Mod to Use. i feel that the Columbus, Missiouri, and Olympic ones aren't suitible. Are there any other ones that are good to use for a region of the northeast US?

So I downloaded lots of Mining and Lumber lots to build the beginning of a Rural Industrial area, yet I have no idea how to actually do this. I mean I know how to plop and build and zone bit nothing specific. I mean how/where would did build a mining lot? Is it better to build lumber yards in the middle of the woods or on a waterway?I have tried to do a search both here and at SC3Devotion and have not found anything useful. If anyone has anytips on building Rural Industry, please post here and share with me!

Thanks for the Advice. Its more advice as to where to put the lot, what would be close by, better in a village of large town......etc, then finding the lots in my menu. I have the Extra cheats, but did not know you could do that. Thanks for the New tip! -
I am looking for a CJ but cant remember the name. I tried searching the forum but still no luck. It had "Pocket guide" in the name and was photoshopped beautifully to look like a travel guide. It was an island region. does anyone remember what i am looking for?

I am trying to make a map that is 6 mediums tiles across and 3 down, like the GRV region, bit i do not understand how the terraformer works. I read all i can on map making but feel lost. Is there anyone out there who can help me and dumb it down for me???

Yea i don't even have lot editor...bad me i know but i did dl all the Nexis ones. I just wanted something sort of like the roman/greek/german/viking medevil periods. Silly me got intrigued by the thing on Carthage i just saw and had an idea to put that in my city

That sounds wonderful! If the house and farm are going to be separate, then may I have a house in the oldest part of town? If not then anywhere is fine. i just really like the original part of the town

well Can someone tell me why i have a big water spot in the middle of my city on the terraformer? I used the right color in paint to make a large city but all i got is green surronding watter when i wanted an a large city surrounded by med cities on all sides. What am i doing wrong? how can i do this right?

and in terraformer would the size be 8 by 8 as well

Still Can't make a map. I know i am smart but geeze i feel stupid. I made the 6 x 3 region but lost it and now I would like to make a region with one large city in the middle and all medium tiles surronding it on all sides. I assume this would be 16 x16 but i can't figure it out. Is there someone out there that can help me?

no nothing specific. I know I saw a fower market at SC4D but i can't find the link in all my downloads. It's your city, you shoose what you think works well in it

Regarding requests from back in Sept, i am again asking for farm space with a home and a flower market/ greenhouse/vegtable stand nearby. anywhere u find room for it is fine with me.
