I am currently getting this error when attempting to download anything with no other current downloads in progress. Earlier this evening I was having no troubles. Using Firefox 9.0.1 in Ubuntu 11.10. Cleared cookies and cache, logged out, restarted browser. This did not fix anything. Don't know if this is related, but I was getting a lot of Error 500s and "Site Down for Maintenance" messages.
