Fallout 3 is one of the best games I've played in a long time. It is an RPG and an FPS, lots of character development, great open world, it's fun. If you can find a powerful weapon, use it, and conserve ammo by going for headshots, which is easier thanks to the VATS targeting system. it's rare for me to buy ammo because i scavenge it from enemy encampments, or from the bodies after a firefight. Get the game of the year edition with the expansions, Mothership Zeta allows you the get your hands on some serious alien tech. it was fun enough that i will be checking out New Vegas when it lands on store shelves this fall that said, there are some bugs with the game and it does crash, but it depends on your system, and how old it is, PS3, or 360, you really can't go wrong, and it's a fun game on both
