I zoned some more Res on other areas, and for no obvious reason, that first Res zone started growing again!

Thanks Mrb, but I've been zoning 1x1's for ever now and none of them grow a bit! I even let the simulator run for over two game years and nothing happened, it's not that I don't have Res demand, as if I zoned a 2x1's the houses grow instantly! As I'm new to the game, I'm trying to duplicate this tutorial: https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=146&threadid=78505&enterthread=y So I'm stuck at this 1x1 none-growing-lots already! Which is supposed to be like the simplest step on the whole tutorial lol! Man I suck at this! Hello. If someone could please tell me how/where I can get a 1x1 residential houses, like these: I don't really care if they are nice-looking or not at the time being. However, if you know more eye-appealing set of 1x1 houses it would be also appreciated Also, I have just installed the game about two days ago, and I came here looking for beginners guides which I found and I appreciate it. But it seems here around this forum theres a lot of add-ons and plug-ins that are convenient and most of the people has it, I for one, don't like to spoil the game with so much plug-ins and mods, so if anyone can post what is the most popular and convenient types of add-ons and mods that are most used by this community players and that doesn't ruin the game experience a lot it would be highly appreciated Thank you!
