Hi Just thought i would comment about scs. Yes the performance issues are bad for a big city and i miss the way zones develop but i really like the game for some reason. it looks nice, plays well (fun) and sucks me in for hours of play which simcity4 never did, maybe im not enough of a hardcore simcity fan to enjoy sc4 but the amount of buildings available to use and the different ways you can set the city up (fun city etc) is great. I like it for the people that dont, i think your missing out on something. Anyway a little pic of my third city about 3hours into build. Hi Im new to the forums I run simcity societies patch#2 on vista 64bit with a 8800gtx, i run the game in 1680x1050 with reflections off (big performance killer) and the detail clippings (2 options) down to medium/high. Found that is runs alot better, then everything else on ultra/high apart from AA/AF. Game runs fine but i find that when i have a big city the game can just hang which is very annoying, havent found away round that one yet. Using nvidia 169.28 drivers from 3dguru and have updated my xfi drivers to the latest which also helps. Apart from that afew more patches i think are required but i love the game reminds me abit of Anno1701. Not much of an helpful reply but afew performance tips. Thanks
