On the other hand, in a more complex form where I start adding platforms, ob's decks and all the other fiddly bits in between, it could take over a month Its a fun design though and i'll definitely do it at some point (if nobody beats me to the starting grid, lol) Also... it was projected to by 400m high... which would have made it slightly smaller than WTC 2.quote> Tatlin intended the place to serve as a sort of communications center, with radio and telegraph broadcasting. Maybe the tower can be a super-radio station.

Nice work. Any chance of seeing Tatlin's Third International tower? There's a Google 3d model of it here: http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=fce07ec253a2ca6457e642c7166e125a&prevstart=0

I'm sick and tired of seeing the same old university pop up in every one of my cities. Why not do things differently? Why not put together a university system that consists of individual buildings, each with their own effects? Here's what I had in mind. Administration Building: A reward when your city gets big enough for a university, say 50k people. You have to have the Administration Building to build other University buildings. The Administration Building generates a small amount of revenue based on how many other University buildings you have in the city - it is the center of your fundraising campaign, after all. After you've placed the Administration Building, you can put down other lots which serve as education buildings and have secondary effects based on what they teach there. Examples: College of Medicine: Serves as a small college and a small hospital. College of Dentistry: Serves as a small college and a clinic. College of Business: Serves as a small college and boosts CO lots. College of Agriculture: Serves as a small college and boosts Ag lots. College of Engineering: Serves as a small college and boosts I-M lots. College of Chemistry: Serves as a small college and boosts I-HT lots. College of Law: Serves as a small college and as a small Bureau of Bureaucracy. College of Environmental Science: Serves as a small college and reduces pollution. College of Education: Increases effectiveness of other education buildings. Other university buildings might include a student union and dormitories. They can be in a variety of styles, because real-life universities have all been built over a long period of time. Ivy-covered brick, neoclassical, Art Deco, brutalist, you name it, you can find it on campus. Now, here's the bad news. I have the Mac version of SC4, so I can't make any of these lots. Is anyone interested in taking the ball and running with it?

Love the work you guys have done. Anybody thinking of putting together a BAT of the old Hudson's building in Detroit?

Nice work on your Soviet architecture. Have you seen Moscow Unrealized? http://www.muar.ru/ve/2003/moscow/index_e.htm It's a gallery of plans for gargantuan Soviet buildings that were never built. I'd love to see some of these in BAT form.

I've got NAM, but my keyboard doesn't have Home/End keys. (Compact laptop, y'know.) Can I still rotate the puzzle pieces?

My request is the PacMed Building in Seattle. Formerly a hospital, it's now home to Amazon.com's HQ. It stands 14 stories and 239 ft (73 m) high and sits atop Beacon Hill. You can't miss it as you drive along I-90 into town. I think it'd be nice to have an Art Deco hospital to go along with my Art Deco skyscrapers.
