Just wondering what the story is with Mac version of the Sims you can place in the game. I though they spoke English when I last played the Windows version. Aspyr said this was normal for the mac, that the Sims spoke a language all their own. What is really the point of having them yapping in the background if they never said anything intelligible to the player? I this just the way it is for the Mac version? Rabbyt

I am looking for tunnel modding information. I did the search thing but don't seem to have the correct word(s) and I've been thru 11 pages of this thread with no luck. I have this theory about tunnels being related to bridges, entry/exit/transition pieces and repeating segments in between. The exemplers of the transition pieces connect two locations on the map and determine/store the travel time/distance. The repeating segments are for U Drive. Anyone out there with more in depth knowledge for locating said information here on ST? thanks, Rabbyt

At the moment I've forgotten how to unlock a layer. Could it also be a restriction of the CS3 download or is PS CS3 trail version not crippled? There is a shareware program also out there that has a good reputation, "GraphicConverter". THe interface is a little different than PS but it is much cheaper if you want something to do the basic jobs over the long term. Rabbyt I know its not really a full answer...

The station I've seen at the end of the line has both tracks go through. The termination is an extension of the track where the right side merges and switches over to the left track (North American). The train then waits there for the scheduled time for entry into the station in the other direction.

Actually, the platform colour reminds me of artificially stained concrete. The soil around here, coastal BC Canada, is grey, black or dark brown. I guess its all relative; the soil around PEI, Canada is almost red. As for realism of the roof supports in a futuristic station, I'm all for leaving them out, but that's just me. Having said that, obstructions near (0-3m) the edge of the platform would not be a good thing. Nice progress! I only wish Aspyr had included the tools for us mac users to be as creative. Rabbyt.
