Nice CBD! I love the location for that tower, I think it makes a great look out point to watch the seas, isn't it? I also like how you use avenues to connect everything, makes you city seem prepared to handle high traffic flows. Can't wait 'till next update. Regards, Korot

Accountability and Liability of Public Officials
Korot replied to A Nonny Moose's topic in General Off-Topic
Ah, then I might have misunderstood you. Sorry. And in that case, we also seem to agree: You can't blame humans for something we don't have control of. Regards, Korot -
Being about as creative as a ... well, a not-very-creative person ... the only names I can think of are in the line of Destroyer, Destructor and, indeed, Behemoth. But I've come to an idea: since your naming the small one T-5 Drake MBT, why not name the big one T-5 Drake HBT? Seeing as both have the same base, one could say they are based of the same desgin, one is just the medium version, and the other the heavy one. Very nice models though! Would love seeing those coloured! Regards, Korot

Accountability and Liability of Public Officials
Korot replied to A Nonny Moose's topic in General Off-Topic
Could just be me, but if you want to state your defense of 'act of God', I would still like you to proof that it indeed was (a) God that did it. Regardless, this indeed is quite stupid. Despite the reassuring statement issued, people in the area should have known that those predictions aren't 100% accurate, and if they feel the earth shaking constantly, and are afraid of a big one, they should flee. Personally, I would rather look into the construction quality of all those collapsed buildings, since those didn't seem to be so strong. Then again, I do not know how 'active' the region is/was, and thus if they could have suspected earthquakes to hit the region at all. Regards, Korot -
Franklin County - 12th Anniversary Update, All-Nighttime Shots of New Riverside Downtown
Korot replied to Patricius Maximus's topic in SC4 City Journals
It's been a long while since you updated yes. It's been an even longer while since I made a reply here (or anywhere else on ST for that matter... ) Ahem, anyway: nice to see Franklin back. Let's hope it'll become just as popular as it always has been. Sad thing the AFDES died though. 'Bout the update: I love space exploration. It seems that at last humans will set foot on Mars. At least then we'll be sure there's life on Mars! Regards, Korot -
@Bombcar: Don't we all? @Tarkus: Do you've got some sort of ETA? @Mods of ST: Could one of you please edit the title to "SC4D news updates and current status", so that it's clear this thread is about the SC4D forums? Thank you! Regards, Korot

8721. With the little knowledge of Duke personality I have, I'm pretty confident that there is something behind his question.
-
8717. I'm still not getting the joke.
-
8714. Am I supposed to get that joke?

8710. Dunno, irony?

Is nothing just the same as not having?

quote> The inner city looks quite nice, though I'm not a big fan of those empty places near low rise buildings, in the lower left of the picture. I can't quite describe what's wrong with it, but it just isn't my taste. Edit: After having thought about it for a while, I realised what's bugging me about it: it's the waste of space, generated by those empty spaces. Something inside of me is just screaming for someone to fill in those areas with some nice buildings. A landing pad was later built off to the side nearby for the CPF after a series of tragic crimes.quote> May I ask what kind of crimes? lights up to show every city once known.quote> Little do they know that some cities lighted up, long before they were founded. Near the city center, the famous Altai Tower Complex houses much of the Department of Science's laboratories.quote> Nice building, somewhat has the futuristic looks I'd expect from a science building. And since now's as good as time as any to ask: How important are science and technology on New Eden? The X-5 Hawk Shuttlequote> ..., which looks absolutly stunning, if you'd ask me. I also like the design of the space port: not bigger than absolutely necessary. Though I do wonder how wise it is to build a cargo port on one side of downtown, while the cargo is generated on the other side of downtown, meaning that all those heavy and noisy trucks have to travel through downtown. I hope you enjoyed the tour of the colony, quote> Of course I did, it's always nice to see how a city develops. Regards, Korot

8693. Instead of an empty post, let's get something in here: RE Chptrk's new avatar: I concur with Skimbo, though in my mind, improving wasn't that difficult. The use of colours in the old one, wasn't quite my taste.

Can you give a definition of something?

Wrong. Perhaps Bigbuilder will be next?
-
Correct. No Bigbuilder next.

8679. RE: PFB: If I'm not mistaken, a fix was also included in the current version of ST, but it was removed for some reason. So I'm a little sceptical about whether it's going to work this time 'round.
-
8675. PFB could be taken care of, if we switch to a different forums software, but I don't see that happening any time soon.
