Spec check before i buy the game
Tomatoworm replied to KingWhite55's topic in Cities: Skylines Technical Help Q&A
I'm really excited to try this game ,but I definitely have to upgrade my computer since it's just running XP. I'm thinking of getting a Asus desktop to run it but not quite sure about how good the processor is. If someone who has had experience this kind of setup could give me a recommendation I would really appreciate it. ANonnyMoose- Thank you for taking the time to get back to me. I actually only have $74,000 right now ,and the budget of my city Crater Plains is decreasing fast. I'll keep it in mind as I build my income. Cogeo-That mod that lowers the minimum deal amount sounds interesting. Is it easy to install? I'll try out those power plants. I appreciate the help!

Alright, I"ll build another wind power plant in Hillside. Cefien- That's definitely a good point! I didn't realize how much money I would lose. Especially since I'am using 12 wind power plants! I think eventually I will build a wealthier city with a coal power plant and sell resources to Crater Plains. I have one more question. Can a city still buy power if it is not adjacent to the city producing power? For example: City(Buying)- City(Selling,Buying)-City(Selling,Producing).

Thank you for the replies! I've been keeping an eye on news box and also checking on the budget panel, but I'll keep waiting. I was thinking of just building another power plant ,but Crater Plains really needs the income.

Hello, After a long hiatus I'm back to playing Simcity again and I've really been enjoying it . I have two connected small cities that I would like to share power with ,but for some reason I can't initiate a power deal no matter I long I wait. Crater Plains Population: 3,309 power capacity:1400 Current Usage: Just above 400 Hillside Population: 2,063 Power Capacity: 215 Current Usage: 230 I'm already selling water from Hillside to Crater Plains ,but I still can't sell power to Hillside. Does anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong?

Ins't there some sort of name generator? I usually base my city names off of real city names or I just combine words.

.The U-Drive it is ok .The music is good but nowhere as good as SC 3000 . The random disasters that added suspense andthe time period change is gone(you have to start at 2000) . Grid like layout . No scenarios or scenario makers and very meager cities already built . My Sims mode is ok but they sometimes complain WAY to much! .Advisors can get annoying but they fourtnatly don't pop up too much. .Terra-forming tools seem a tad bit to sensitive at times .Auto road making zones can make things ugly Rather than these small gripes, I love every thing else about the game!!
