Update 4- New Chatham The city of New Chatham is named after the founder Newton Chatham. The city's economy is based off of the local casino, and the massive automobile assembly plants. The city has a population of about 125,000 people. And it is home to New Chatham Tech, which was built in the early 1980s has helped many students to have a great technical career. New Chatham Tech and stadium. Transportation: The city currently has two RRCT lines mostly operated through subways, they connect to the Lancaster North line which runs a line from the western industries of the cities to New Chatham. Also RRCT runs a number of bus routes through the city. No major interstates pass through the city but New Chatham does have a few major freeways. Including the NC Expressway, and Zoo Avenue. City Sports: New Chatham has two sports venues though no teams play in them there are future expansion plans for new teams in many county leagues. The stadiums are placed side by side in whats known as the New Chatham Sports Complex. The Founder Arena is home tgo recreational hockey teams. New Chatham Stadium is currently without a team but is planned to have a CBL(County League Baseball) expansion team next season. New Chatham Sports Complex. Update 3- Highway Extension The citizens of Orlando have been complaining about a lack of Roads leading to the industrial area east of the city. So the the County Council has set up a plan to convert the western portion of City Ave, where i turns into a highway to go into the western industries.(yellow areas represent planned extensions) The Existing highway portion will be converted to elevated highway and continue to the east, the plan includes a new set of, on and off ramps for City Ave. The original plan will continue the new highway across the river using an existing highway bridge. Where it will connect to the Downtown Tollway using the existing interchange. Then the plans include running the new highway through the currently forested area to the northeast of town, then connect it to an avenue in the eastern industrial area. Now that the plans for construction have been released to the public, contruction can begin on the new extension plans. City Avenue was reconstructed first. A new toll booth will be constructed soon. Also a new exit for Riverview Pkwy has also been reconstructed. All construction west of the river has been finished as well. This is a pic of the highway between City Ave. and Riverview Pkwy. As on and off ramps were put up on the west side of the highway, construction began on the eastern portion. With road crews working fast and support by the surrounding metro area, road crews were able to finish most of the project. But due to city budget limits the new highway only connects to the avenue in the industrial area. But plans are still in place to recontruct the avenue. The city budgets have prevented furthur construction. County News: The Lancaster JetHawks of the CLB (County League Baseball) have signed free agent Tonny Tamerez to a three year contract. The Red Rose County Hockey League will be holding tryouts for all five teams in the league. Orlando has increased population size by 50,000.

Well I like option A because it runs through new developement and don't worry about existing residential developement, the new developement will tend to be high density as well. And you have a small branch to the commercial and industrial area in the pic. I love your transportation maps too.

Thanks for the Replys. Update 2- Transportation cont. Red Rose County has a vast network of transportation. The RRCT has a huge network of lines that transport hundreds of local residents to and from thier jobs, civic events, and for those weekend trips to another city within the county. The many lines in Lancaster. The buissiest interchange on the RRCT. Major highways connect the county together, while geting county residents to thier destinations quickly and safely. The major highways are I-39, I-139, and I-68. The county residents can get to anywhere in the county as well as out with some of the major avenues and Lancaster International Airport and Kanawa Regional Air Terminal. Flights arrive and leave every ten minutes at LIA (Lancaster International Airport). I-39 passes through the southern part of downtown Lancaster. Lancaster International Airport and surrounding transportation.
