Is it after all this years of modding still not possible to create lager areas for cities? Since the idea of the regions ist not working (e.g. each regions wants a airport and seaport) i would like to build cities double the size of what is currently possible. Is there a way to build a mod for building larger cities?

well, cracking games to remove the copy protection is also illegal but it is done everyday. I would say this is worse than editing the .exe for this purpose. I think it wouldn't even bother EA after all this years.
