  1. What would you need to buy this game?

In order for me to buy this game i will need the following: 1. Airports and Seaports 2. Options to customise and edit land 3. More Disasters 4. More Transit bring back trains, monorails 5. Highways and streets would be great 6. Landmarks statues and other fake landmarks to match the theme of your city 7. Less BP Logos lol 8. A bigger map and a larger population 9. Less game hangs 10. Drive it missions bring them back you can see your city close why can't you drive a car thats all i want
  2. Why EA is every serious gamer's nightmare

I read that the need for speed franchise on ign is another disaster as they tried something new with it taking it to a different direction no more cops no more street racing or traffic , its just track racing you just got to love ea for trying iam still going to buy this one for the cars lol
  3. How do you feel about the SCS announcement?

Well i would like to first say i have returned the game back to the store after playing Sim City for most of my life i was questioning whether to open it or not? This is how i feel about SCS, It may be a new direction but it has left out the simply things you would expect in a city ie, Trains, Airports, Seaports, Highways. Sure zoning is gone but so has the spirit of the game there is no customization something you would expect in building simuliation cannot edit land or add trees or animals. You cannot choose bridges and tunnels iam sure don't exist. I fell the game has been left open for expansions and if its anything like the sims watchout you will be at the shop every month buying simple expansions which ea could had put into the game at the start the true sim city 4 will always remain in the hearts of true fans but sim city societies has attracted a new audience. I sticking with the reviews from ign, this game is better left on the shelf if you want to build and customise a city with endless possibilities!
  4. Thanks acoomer , i have alot of games to buy this holiday season. I will wait till the demo comes out to give it a go, its a shame how a city can't have zones, airports, seaports, to much repetitivity Iam joining the annoyed crowd. I only hope that one day this will be fixed in a expansion.
  5. Hello All from Downunder Iam new to this site, have been a Sim City player for a long time i got addicted to it in Highschool there was one PC in the computer labs that had Sim City 2000 installed since than i have played Sim City 4 and Rush Hour and can never get enough. So now heres my question I have already bought Sim City Socities however after reading review after review i refuse to open the shrink warp on the box untill i get some questions answered? They are as follows I know in terms of transport there are buses, trains but are there Airports and Seaports? Are there diasters?. Just like a kid when you build a city you get that urge to knock it down. If someone could also tell what kind of disasters are on offer in sim city socities?. What happened to landmarks are they still there? Can you still drive vechiles like rush hour or control police ambulances and fire engines. Can you customise your terrian i think i read somewhere you can't but i prefer to hear it again? if someone can help me it would be great , before i return the game back.
