  1. I have often thought how awesome it would be in SimCity 4 would of been playable on a large scale. I.e. playing on the whole region at the same time without having to switch between segments. Does anyone know if this is possible? Sure I imagine it would likely lag out if you eventually fill the region up, but I would really love to do something like this. Actually, my ideal game would be sometime of a mix between Civ4 and SimCity4 where you develop a region (or whole country) from the early ages, using simple horse trails, and such (with early industries being of importance, such as farming), up to the modern age with highways and high speed rail. All the while trying to gather rescources and balance the budget like you do in SimCity 4 I think this would be an awesome way to really study how citys can grow out of simple crossroads at wagon trails. and why some cities fail, etc... Imagine a game like SimCity on a scale as large as North America... maybe even add in some local resistance, such as natives and stuff to the more outlaying areas. But that really being the closest it would get to combat of course, as it would be more an economical, rescource and infrastructure based game. * Maybe even making it so you need at least enough farmland to support your population, if not more to produce an export.
