Laughable Butane Bob

Hi. I was wondering has anyone ever found a way to allow you to play alot bigger areas than the standard small, medium and large ones? The game was released in 2003. Suerly we can now run areas on modern day computing power 4 times that (at least) of the original large sized area?? Anyone point me in the right direction of such a mod? Bob
