  1. End all Sim game

Just getting creative juices flowing Not sure why more than 1 disk is a problem (EQ2 took 9 disks to install - WoW took 4 or 5 If I remeber that far back). If a quality game is produced people will come. Heck even if its crap people will these days. Monopoly is nothing like what im proposing unless farms and ants are running wild in Monopoly. Im no programmer but seems to me when a company or group says it cant be done practically - someone else does it the next year and Cha Ching. Appreciate the response - and like I said just getting the thought out there to simmer.
  2. End all Sim game

What the Sim franchise needs to do is just release an all encompassing Sim MMORPG instead of all these semi-crappy semi-awesome games. Make a good bunch of the games playable in one setting in the online realm - for instance if I want to attack another player with "SimAnt" tactics I am free to do it. If I get sprayed thats my problem. If I want to focus on developing my own "Sims" home then thats fine to. Invest in "SimCity" buildings? No problem. Want to be a farmer? Go for it with the "SimFarm content." Wanna do something like in (insert your favorite Sim game) ? No problem go ahead and do it. Possibilities are endless really. So there we have it. Focus all the various "Sim" teams together and give the MMORPG public a HUGE content game that isnt a "swords and shields" crap fest. My 2 cents anyway.
  3. problem

Did a complete reinstall. I traced it down to 1 of 3 things. 1) Bad or corrupted region I had downloaded earlier in the day. 2) Bad combination of plugins although they all seemed to work fine hours before this mess started. 3) Bad or corrupted program files (NAM in particular as it was only one I had installed at the time). After full reinstall of all of the above listed, everything is fine. My only other suggestion is if someone can figure out why changing the "Visual effects" from LOW to anything else causes that problem then we can get closer to fixing it. Let me also say changing from Hardware render to Software render did absolutely nothing. Systems specs as follows: Support request generated by EAsy. Copyright 2002 Electronic Arts. 4. problem

I have that exact same problem. There are graphic "remnants" left when scrolling in any mode. I have all settings on high - when "Visual effects" is set to anything other than LOW this problem occurs. Ive tried changing resolution > no change / changed everything possible and updated ALL drivers and DirectX and still no change when visual effects is higher than LOW. I have downloaded a small amount of plugins and have systematically ruled all of them out as the problem. Also have the most current version directly from EA. Seems to be a rare problem as this is the only post ive found after 5 hours of searching. Below is a jpeg of the "problem"
