  1. Need Help with High R-$ demand!

Another thing you can do is build normally, but tax the bejeezus out of R$$ and R$$$. That said, even if I use this to turn over entire city tiles to R$ exclusively, I can never get the R$ demand significantly down for my regions. I've started to think of it as sort of a meaningless meter -- rather than meaning "R$ want to live in your region," it means "R$ would totally live here, if they weren't priced out of the market by R$$ and R$$$."
  2. I've been having some trouble getting the sc4m file for a specific region (Houston_Fan's "Los Angeles and Region", at https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=18815) to render in the Terraformer. Basically, what happens it that my computer crunches on it for a while, and then generates a big block of nothing but land. Someone else on the comment thread for that map said they were having the same problem, but no one there has replied since. Has a similar problem happened to anyone else with sc4m files? Basically, I'm at a loss for how to determine whether this is a problem with my Terraformer install, with the sc4m file, or with both. For what it's worth, at least a few people on the comments thread seem to have gotten the region to render properly. Apologies if this isn't the right forum to ask this question.

I've got that "huge block of land" issue too. Any tips out there from people experienced with the sc4terraformer?
