  1. No Job and Hi-tech

uhm, i'll try to place more parks around the cities. my air pollutions are mostly from the grids of roads for med density residential and commercial, and bulldoze out the dirties. thanks for the tips, guys!
  2. My 36k sized city is having a fairly high demand for hi-tech industry. Sadly, I've been unable to bring in the jobs for the city. Currently, I've lowered tax rate for med/high wealth zones, and increased the tax rate for low wealth industry; in the hope of luring hi-tech in and keeping dirty out. Education level is at slightly above 130 (elementaries, private, high, college, and university), commute time is at about 92min (too long for my taste). What can I do to improve and get a hi-tech industry going?
  3. ditching the subway

thank you for the informative reply. i've fixed it now btw your showcase is amazing, and go nyy!
  4. my citizens, for unknown reasons, decided to ditch my subway network! in the beginning, i constructed a one-line subway system,(with only 2 nodes/stations) which was used by ppl to commute from residential houses to their industrial workplaces. i expanded the line and added a few more stations along the line, the usage continues, albeit at a very low usage% (highest was at 15% capacity). as my city's streets/roads start getting more congested, i added a few more lines, and eventually made a loop for the subway stations. however, at this point, all the subway commuters disappeared and the car traffic volume spiked up, and i can't get them back to the subways after i de-looped the network. anyone know what's wrong with my subway design? and if there's anything i should know about networking the subs?
