The Portland & Oregon BAT Team, Chapter 1
Dog replied to sparkythepenguin's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
Was just catching up on the thread and somthing popped into my head, South Waterfront. So I figure I put it out there. Think it would be easier to do them from all the sketches and promo material available or when the buildings are done and you have somthing to see in reference too? Just curious if anyone has plans. Like I wouldn't mind seeing 2 CD's really. A Volume 1.1 acting more like an updated essentials disc and a Volume 2 content cd with more bats/lots/maps. Or instead of an updated essentials more like a STEX Developer's CD loaded with models, props n textures. Which is probably pointless cause i'm sure it's just me being greedy since most people actively developing for SimCity4 are probably up to date anyway. It's not even a year and thats not too bad considering not every entry is worth putting on the CD. Just seems a lot longer when you don't have internet at home and have limited opportunities to snag files. Hence my desire for somthing printed that I can go through. Love the site though, it always gets me itching for more SimCity. Dog It takes a greedy person to start somthing.

The Portland & Oregon BAT Team, Chapter 1

Ever get the feeling that we're kinda boned on the city of portland replica idea until we can build effectively with diagonals and under bridges? I tried to do it a while ago thinking maybe finally with all the goodies in NAM I could pull it off. So far no luck, SW mucks everything up. Then I think, maybe if I cut it up into 3 different regions (SW, NW & N, NE & SE). . .. it would work but it wouldn't be true. Besides I would still be stuck without diagonal bridges. Maybe SC5, will set us free from the grid. Until then gentlemen, I shall continue to enjoy these buildings while trying to get a decent representation of stumptown in a Sim City game. Dog The next time you set up a booth, i'll make sure to be there
