Bidding for tickets in the UK (and apparently the rest of the EU) closed ages ago. I think one of my mates bided for about £2,000 of tickets. It will hit him hard if all of them are successful. Since I don't have much interest in the Olympics, I haven't bid for any, plus it's quite a long journey from here to London without the thousands of tourists and spectators crowding the roads and rails.

I don't have Black Ops as I refuse to buy one since the release of MW2. It was a brilliant series before with potential to become the perfect FPS, but it went downhill with the sixth release. I've switched over to Battlefield because I find the multiplayer to be a lot more fun.

The only thing necessary is the Network Addon Mod (NAM), as it fixes quite a lot of bugs and adds new tools. Different people would recommend different stuff, for instance I'd recommend the Industry Quadrupler and Radius Doubler mods, but other people wouldn't find these necessary. After that though it really is a matter of personal preference. For instance, if yo were an airport geek, you would download all of the RMIP sets and ACB Terminals. Of course if you aren't then there's no point. If you don't like the colour of the Maxis water, then you could download a mod to change that. Want to go build your cities on Mars? Simmars is for you. If not then don't download it. In short, your plugins folder is what you make of it and what you want it to be.

Personally, I don't like the colour, it's too loud. I think it would look better in a cream or grey colour, and I agree with Ion_Cannon that a rusted, worn texture might look nice. I also think that the stairs should have a steel plate texture, and the top could be a different colour entirely. Of course, those are my opinions. The model is fantastic, good job there.

Most people use the INDUSTRY QUADRUPLER to get around having to build huge industry districts. It adds jobs to all existing industrial buildings, so demand for industry will drastically drop and some buildings will be abandoned. You may also want to download the newest NAM, it contains a traffic simulator that improves the way sims find jobs and travel to them.

My view is that the system works, why fix what isn't broken?
